[MATCH THREAD] Chicago Fire FC vs DC United - May 13, 2026 6:30PM CT

Scoreboard app is broken again, at least for now. Consider this the match thread unless scoreboard fixes itself.

The Fire go on the road to DC and try to course correct after some frustrating losses. What better place than the home of Tom Barlow's hat trick?

Trap game, didn't show up and some poor play. Oh well. At least Hugo got the goal.

[MLS PR] With his game-winning goal tonight, Hugo Cuypers became the fifth player in MLS history to score in at least nine-straight games and the first to do so since Carlos Vela in 2019-20

5 Things We Learned: Chicago Fire 1, New York Red Bulls 3

The snarky thing that I didn't write is "it's stunning how quickly everyone forgot what a losing streak feels like," but I guess we learned that, too.

Our midfield is genuinely awful

Dje is the only real player in this midfield. Saletros is pitiful, Lod is bad, Pineda is ehh, Oregel is mid. We need Franco so bad and I dont think we replaced Guti well enough.

Also, Gregg needs to make subs quicker and in better places. Gutman was awful today we could have subbed in Radojevic for some energy. Didnt make any substantial ones against Cincinnati either.

Robert Lewandowski doubting Barcelona stay after €15m salary offer

Oh boy here we go folks.......what say you? It just doesn't make sense from a football perspective right now with Cuypers on fire...us having to change formation when we can maybe try and go for someone else.....on the commercial side, I totally get it but regardless let's see what happens.

I know it said interest had cooled, I just saw on Twitter that reporter said that is what we are offering now for $15mill a year.
