After years of panic and fear mongering about an extremist government in Bangladesh by the Bhadralak society of Calcutta, West Bengal has decided to swear in a person who said "give muslims the israeli treatment"

From what I’ve been seeing, the recent results in West Bengal show growing support for right-wing politics, particularly the BJP.

Do yall think this could have a spillover effect in Bangladesh? For example, could it push groups like Jamaat or others toward more reactionary or identity-based politics?

After West Bengal's BJP, Will it make our people more extreme and prone to religious nationalistic policies, or less?
