These bellies are so not a trap I am actually legally required to give bellies anytime I see one.

Lucy will wander around the house chirping and screaming at me for bellies. If I come to investigate said screaming, she will run to her designated “belly rub box/basket” and bellies must commence immediately. Lucy learned quickly how to position herself next to me for optimal bellies as she requires your arm to be in between her back legs. She will attempt to hook her leg around your arm to get it in the proper position.

Ricky knows the sound of me getting up from my desk and will run from where ever he is to violently flop on the floor (he makes quite the loud thunk sound) and then roll over back and forth. This means he wants bellies right now. We call this “big floppin’ man” or “roly poly man”. Also if Ricky hears me paying attention to Lucy he will run to where we are and throw himself on the floor and beg for lovins and bellies.

We take bellies very seriously in this house.

I took the photo two days ago at Zoo Knoxville, she is a critically endangered Malayan Tiger and was taking a nap. They have two fences between us but could still see her belly.

Came back to my chair after making a coffee and Pippin made himself this comfortable in under 3 minutes. Legendary.

Miss Whiskey just loves to show us belly, and we can’t help but give her belly scritches!! She was a stray who was super emaciated and anxious when she first got here, and we call her Whiskey because someone cut off her whiskers! (Don’t worry, we were angry 😡) But now she’s fat, happy, and feels confident and safe enough with us that she never stops meowing or rubbing on us and everything in the house! And, of course, showing belly 😁😂 We love our Whiskey gorl 🥰❤️
