What is this cable?

What is this cable?

I came across this cable in a collection of them and I don’t know what it is or what it does; any suggestions?

Need help identifying USB type charging port of TENSI+

Hi, would anyone know and be able to confirm which USB type this USB port is in this image?

The device is TENSI+ (tensiplus.com) and its a medical device produced in France. The manufacturer packaged it with a micro USB cable but it doesn't fit the USB port as you can see from the photo.

I know its not USB-C. I'm looking at images of the Mini USB and while it seems to be the closest match, the port shape doesn't look like it fits 100% too. Mini USB is shaped very much like a "T" while this port looks more like a rectangle with smoother corners on the other half.

What USB type do you think it is?

EDIT: I can see some comments saying its a Mini Display Port. I can see it kind of does look like it but this is supposed to be a charging port for the device. The device doesn't have a screen to display anything. Can Mini Display Ports function as a charging port?

What is this 4 pin inside oval <> usb-A cable to ?

I have the standard “big box of cables in the garage” with all sorts of standard and unique cables. This one I have zero memory of what it would be for. Not magnetic and maybe Mac related but not sure?

USB wiring around room

I want to connect a PC to a USB outlet on the wall and over the other side of a long room have a USB outlet that allows me to connect a USB device or drive. Basically, hoping to eliminate cables running across the floor. The cables would transfer data over USB.

I was assuming, I could buy wall sockets like Lan cable connectors but for USB. However, I can't seem to find anything.

Google keeps showing USB power sockets, which are obviously the wrong thing.

Is the only option to use ethernet cable and wall boxes and cables and make up my own ethernet to USB adapters?

Edit: The correct search for Google was USB keystone jack.
Consider this question answered and thanks to all those that posted.

Bought a Raspberry Pi Zero off eBay and it came with this cable which appears to be Micro-USB to HDMI. Which I didn’t think was a thing aside from maybe some DisplayLink adapters.

Nothing shows up on the USB bus with this plugged in and there’s no display on a monitor.

wtf is it for?

Racebox micro setup - what connector is this?

I’m trying to set up my racebox micro with pretty limited electrical experience. My plan is to just strip a usb cable to terminate in a connector that will connect to the device and plug the usb in my car. Does anyone know what type of connector I need to get to do this? I know I can just cut off the existing connector and splice it directly on to the usb cable but I’m just trying to keep it looking semi clean

Cable Snake Repair

This is a 200ft sheathed cable run for a studio camera. All of the rest of the sheathing is in great condition. This tear happened about a year ago and ever since I've been milking it back together and ziptie-ing the gap closed. Is there a better way to fix this without redoing the entire length of the snake?

I’m new to this type of wire. Not sure if it’s classified as ribbon or ffc. I am trying to find the solution to my issue. This wire needs replacement but I can’t source the wire with connectors as is. I am unable to find AWM 2400 (or is it 2499, my eyes are shit apparently).
AWM 20624 keeps coming up as an option and I’m not sure if that would be compatible for this application.

This is the wire that runs from the wall mounted digital control panel to the main electrical control box. There is a kit that can be purchased that contains all three parts which has been delivered and upon testing the only item needed is this wire. I am unable to find an option of purchasing just the wire itself, which is all I need.

What are my options here? Is there a source for this wire that I don’t know about? Is there a compatible wire that would work in place? Could I solder the chewed wires? Please advise.

And thank you in advance for any and all expertise.
