What legal experts miss about Less Lethal airguns

Less Lethal airguns for self defense are misunderstood. You’ll hear strong takes from legal experts like John Correia, Colion Noir, and Massad Ayoob…and a lot of it makes sense. But when you really start looking at how less lethal tools fit into real-world concealed carry, it’s not that simple.

In this video, I break down what these experts get right and where I think people start missing the bigger picture when it comes to less lethal defense. Because the real question isn’t: “Is less lethal as good as a firearm?”

It’s: When does it actually make sense to carry and will you carry it consistently? That’s where things get interesting.

Do Byrna chemical rounds provide any stopping power due to impact as well as chemical reaction?

Been researching Byrna and the legal status in my home state of NJ, and from what I can gather only chemical Ammo is permitted, and not kinetic. My question is, do the chemical rounds cause any pain due to contact with the body, or is is just the chemical irritants that provide the stopping power?
