3rd time this week stopping by this taco truck

It’s a blessing and a curse having this spot a few minutes drive away. My usual order of an Asada burrito from Guisidos Graicy Fresno, CA (their habanero salsa is one of the best salsas I’ve tried in town).

I'm having a mental health breakdown.

When it fucking rains man, it doesn't just pour; it's a whole goddamn monsoon season. Nothing has gone right for me this week. Nothing has been easy. I'm at my breaking point. Sitting in a Mexican restaurant and just crying. Sick of everything being goddamn complicated all the time.

Yesterday I went to my much-needed eye doctor appointment and they tried to do the same thing to me. I drove all the way out there, and they were like, "Oh, we canceled your appointment, but we forgot to tell you." Well, I didn't take that for an answer. I said, "No, you don't cancel someone's appointment and then have them wait over a year to reschedule." So I had to stand up for myself there.

This morning I woke up a little late after sleeping through my alarm clock. I rushed like a mad woman, racing across town for 35 minutes, I was getting anxious as there was a giant traffic jam and I had an 1150 appointment at the doctor. Well I got to my appointment 10 minutes late. Only to find out there was a big sign on the door that says closed for lunch.

But I walked in anyway, and I asked the ladies about it. They said oh we decided to cancel your appointment. It might have been a miscommunication. We're sorry. But we can't get you in today. We decided to go to lunch early so the people that need to do your procedure aren't here.

Yesterday, I also rushed out the door in the middle of lunch rush traffic on the highway so I could get to my HR meeting at my job. Only to find out they had moved it from an in-person meeting to a phone meeting without telling me. So I had to do my meeting in a hot parking lot in the sun.

If you read my other post, then also you know what just happened with my therapist and her backstabbing me. I had to stand up for myself there as well earlier this week. That was a very complex exchange.

I walked into a restaurant this morning after being turned away for my appointment because the staff went to lunch early. And they look me up and down, and they tell me they don't take "my kind" there. I don't know what the hell that was supposed to mean. Am I too poor-looking to come dine in there?

Of course, at that point, I just had a giant meltdown. I'm autistic and I do have my meltdowns sometimes. I just started driving until I eventually ended up at this local Mexican place, where I sit crying in public and having a giant burrito. People are staring at me but I just don't give a fucking shit.

I forgot my noise canceling headphones, so I'm overstimulated with the loud music and my misophonia. I really hate the sound of people making the letter s when they speak. But what can I do about it?

I have to take my elderly mother to an appointment here in about an hour so I have to put on my happy face and pretend I'm okay. Unfortunately, this is not the type of thing I can discuss or show around my mother. But I won't go into that.

God... I've had enough of everything and everyone. I'm just fucking done. I'm tired of being treated like shit and a second-class citizen.

I always thought rice was essential in burritos. it is generally one of my favorite parts, especially how the cheese and salsa mixes with it. then i found this sub and apparently that's blasphemy? lol is this just a west coast thing? i live on the east coast fwiw.

Basic Breakfast Burrito

Three eggs seasoned salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and chili powder. Jalapeño pepper (about to go bad) diced and then sautéed slightly before tossing my eggs into the pan. Added fiesta blend cheese at the end. I didn’t show it, but I had salsa Valentina to pour on each bite.

I didn’t have a lot of groceries in the fridge/pantry, but this would have been so much better with some meat, potatoes, or some salsa.

Tried the California burrito with curly fries

Thanks for the inspiration to the poster who made a California burrito with spicy curly fries! Pretty straightforward copy. Added a zesty ranch variant for us non-crema folks.

Love this sub for the inspiration

This burrito brought me to heaven

Chorizo, eggs, beans, cheese, and tator tots! Simple but it just worked. Tortilla was on point too.

Sonoran Machaca Breakfast Burrito

Southwestern breakfast burritos with machaca, egg, potato, chile verde, and beans. Fresh salsa verde al lado. Comes with 2 burritos per order. I’ve lived all over the country, Southern California included, and these are hands down the BEST burritos I’ve ever had. If you’re ever in Tucson, AZ it is a must try.

For me it’s a super burrito with grilled chicken and no beans. (Super burrito is meat, cheese, rice, beans, sour cream, and guacamole)
