Hey yall this is a little embarrassing for me tbh but I’m really trying to push myself out of my comfort zone!!

I’m 24F and hopefully looking to make some local friends as I have literally none since having my son (who’s now 2) 😅

I honestly have no idea what to put here to hopefully attract some potential besties 👯!

My hobbies at the moment are not that exciting as I’m a stay at home mum at the moment but I’m down for most things! I LOVE music, art, movies and having deep and meaningful convos!! Trying this because the apps haven’t really been it for me. Feels like it’s mostly hookups, people asking for pics, or just not what I’m looking for.
I’m more on the masc side and usually get along best with guys who are similar. Not really into random hookups, I’d rather actually get to know someone and see where it goes, and hopefully it turns into something more long-term if we click.
Also if I’m being honest I don’t really feel like I fit into the typical gay scene, which probably makes it harder to meet people.

Hey everyone,

I’m a 24M based in Brisbane, and I guess I’m just putting myself out there a bit because I could really use some advice (and maybe even connections).

I’m gay but still closeted due to family reasons, which makes dating feel… complicated, to say the least. I haven’t really had the chance to explore relationships openly, and I’m not sure how to navigate this space safely and respectfully.

A bit about me: 178 cm, 74 kg, Malayali (Indian background). I’d say I’m pretty chill, a bit introverted at first, but open up once I’m comfortable.

I’m mainly looking for:

- Advice from others who’ve been in a similar situation

- How to meet people discreetly in Brisbane

- Tips on building genuine connections while being closeted
