This is a treasure i found. My cousin played dobro on it and my great uncle helped produce it.
Other than the fact that Norman Blake and Dale Whitcomb tear it up, the band smokes, and there are some interesting strings on the B side, I cant find much background information about this album.
This seemed like good mood music this morning.
found close to 50 bluegrass records at a goodwill yesterday for $1.50 apiece, this was laid inside The Goins Brothers record.
This is such a solid Bluegrass album from the golden era of Bluegrass. Solid. Definitely recommended checking it out!
