May Candle Rotation & April Empties

This month has been super busy (hence the late empties), which I knew it would be and that’s why I planned fewer burns for this month than usual. I have been burning and enjoying most of them already. First Blooms Of Spring has been really nice and it reminds me of Orange Lily Blossom from last year which I loved. Coconut Sandalwood is one of my favorite staples.

I ended up swapping the Eucalyptus Rain single wick I was planning to burn for a Glacier Lagoon single wick. I saw a lot of people saying Banana Cream Latte was light but mine was adequately strong! Pineapple Cream Puff was a favorite although light it’s a pleasant and not overly heavy gourmand. Carrot & Nectarine was wonderful! I know not everyone enjoyed that one with its vegetal earthy vibe but I love those kinds of fragrances and it was a flawless burn from start to finish. I was slightly disappointed when it first came out because I still have the original low profile Carrot Nectarine 3 wick and I was bummed they were not the same scent. However, as it turns out I actually prefer the new one!

Leather Bound Pages hand soap needs to be brought back and I’d love if they expanded it to wallflowers, room spray, candles, and body care! Speaking of body care… Dreaming Of Rio has a chokehold on me! I think that’s the fastest I’ve ever gone through a mini spray! The Midnight Pomegranate shower gel was from FOREVER ago (around 10yrs old and was originally $10.50) but was still amazing! The scent was unchanged and it lathered just as well as it did when I purchased it, they were always my favorite to use as bubble bath. I’d just moved it to the back of my collection waiting for it to come back again but I’ve been trying to use up some older stuff so it had to go.

What a lovely, sweet candle! The name “sweetest song” is perfect for this scent because it surrounds you in an embrace and it’s not overly sweet to be categorized as a gourmand

With notes of blush raspberries, sugar crystals and whipped musk

The notes blend very well together, it doesn’t smell like a raspberry candle but it’s not a frosting scent either from the sugar crystals.. the whipped musk note does a wonderful job grounding the sweetness and fruity essence, making this smell soft and sweet! I’d even describe it as airy because it’s not overpoweringly sweet and it gives me a “breezy sweet” energy

The throw is good, not a candle you need to be close to, to smell

If you like perfume-y sweet candles you’d enjoy this one💕

I’ve categorized this candle as one of my “home” scents and I think it’s best there! This has a clean, slightly woody depth. Like a freshly aired out home with a sort of soft woody base that gives it a calm, coziness

I also think this candle is so similar to White Iris & Cedarwood! If you like that one you’ll like this:) they’re almost identical tbh but I’d say this candle is stronger? And a tad bit different. The notes are entirely different too which makes it ironic how they both smell very similar!

The throw on this is good! It’s not one of those candles you need to be close to, to smell. You for sure can smell it when you enter the room. The notes themselves are more on the lighter side so this is not one of those candles that bother your nose

Overall I enjoy the color of the candle jar, it matches the airy- clean calm energy I get from the candle🙂

This candle smells like a thick, luxurious lotion!

With notes of vibrant cherries, pink cameilla, and whipped almond cremé

Another candle that notes work brilliantly together! The vibrant cherry note adds a sweetness to it, (not gourmand or sugary), the pink cameilla note basically smooths out the sweetness and makes it smell slightly floral, and the whipped almond cremé note makes this end on a clean, skin-like smell at the end

If you like cherry blossom smells you can for sure get that vibe off of her.. think Cherry blossom with a hint of fabric softener

She fills the room too, overall a sweet, clean, comforting candle🩷!

Such a nice spring candle! If you enjoy peachy scents you’d like this one, this candle smells more of a white peach rather than the orange peaches. It’s soft, almost floraly peach

With notes of peach nectar, magnolia petals and sweet mandarin.

Of course, the peach nectar note is the strongest to me. Not the only note you smell though, the magnolia petals transforms this peach candle into a lighter peach and the sweet mandarin gives it a nice subtle citrusy bite at the end. The throw is lovely too, not super light but strong enough to fill your room!

I shamelessly love JCB. I was excited to finally see the candle in stock at my local store because it never is.
Today is my first time burning it and there is absolutely no throw at all. I can only smell it very faintly when I put my nose right over the candle. Is this normal for JCB or did I get a bad one?
