Some lettering is backwards is this normal?
For when you need a philosophical push to help break out of your reality. Bonus points for anyone who can translate it (hint: there are two different digraphs in there).
Gave it a few layers of wear n tear, ans colour discolouration like a vintage tee, cause as we know nothing is clean and new in the verse.
Threw it onto a shirt, cause fuck yeah.
If your interested in one, I did list it on my Etsy: braindeef.com but that's zero pressure at all, it took 2 extra mouse clicks to list it, instead of just ordering mine.
I don't want this sounding like a sales post, was just figured you lot would be the only ones to appreciate it. I honestly couldn't care less if sold any, I got mine coming and can't wait.
Not sure why I never posted this in here yet, but this is the first Star-Wars-inspired tattoo I ever got. Got it at the beginning of this year. I love Star Wars and it spells out something that is really important to me. Also, I'm a huge Fast and Furious fan.
Question: The first cup in the new Burger King TV Spot, 'The Mandalorian and Grogu: An Epic Menu' - has Burger King in Aurebesh (Star Wars Galactic language). The rest of the cups in the commercial say Burger King in English. Do the cups have both languages on them?
My wife and I made Star Wars themed foods and drinks. Some from Galaxy's Edge, some from a Star Wars cookbook, and some we made up.
In order of appearance:
Spudlumps - weird looking premade potato sticks with a few kinds of potatoes in them from whole foods I believe. Looked weird enough to use as is. Plus they are actually pretty good.
Scorchedroot Quag - earthy, spicy, dipping sauce. Beets dill mayo Sriracha horseradish cayenne ketchup salt
Ronto Wraps - hot links, pulled pork, pita, coleslaw
Chromafish Cuts - sweet colorful jellied slabs with sour seafoam topper. From fish found in the rivers of Naboo.
Chroma Crystals - From the same rivers as the similarly names fish, these bright jagged crystals have a from crunchy shell and a softer jelly like interior.
Boozy Bantha - our adult take on the blue milk. Blue raspberry torani, Malibu rum, Disaronno, cream/milk, topped with white cotton candy for flair.
Tipsy Thala - The drink I bet Luke had on his island. Green apple torani, Hornitos tequila, lemonade, liquid death fireberry, line the cup with sour slime paste candy and top with green cotton candy.
See previous post for the Kessel Sabacc homemade setup.
Will eventually look like a stolen piece with "rebel scum" written over the aurebesh, Phoenix painted on top of the imperial crest, my name in aurebesh across the top, red line with dashes above the crest, and of course dirtying it up. The back will have the warning sign and various "sticker/passports stamps" type things from various in universe locations. (First time painting anything like this)
For any fellow Star Wars, I made an Aurebesh (Star Wars in universe alphabet) version of the current Lou City crest.
Used my recent trip to Galaxy Edge to support the boys in a galaxy far, far away.
I would like to tattoo “like my father before me” on my arm in aurebesh for my dad! Any help would be appreciated
I’m a die-hard Star Wars fan, have been since I was a little kid, and have always been kind of confused about Aurebesh. I thought it was random, but in this subreddit, I have learned that it is learnable.
Any recommendations on how to learn it(YouTube channels, websites, apps, etc)?
Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
My homemade Kessel Sabacc Set. Complete with Sabacc robot (? Not sure if they have a name) on a lazy Susan to pass cards around, wooden dice made by father-in-law and painted by me, full Sabacc card set made from recycled paper garbage painted and sealed, sabacc playmats with card key info in aurebesh and English, and nearly complete shift token set (2 3d prints failed and I haven't retried yet), and just standard human poker chips. Need to make the kessel sabacc ones next time I have free time.
I have been learning aurebesh, thanks to the lovely people and recommendations of this subreddit, and have been wondering if there was a way to type in aurebesh on iPhone/windows/chrome etc? Any suggestions and ideas are welcome and great
