Easy link to contact Congress and urge them to hold a hearing for Rob Manfred and John Fisher

Let’s keep it plain and simple. What MLB did in Oakland was a manufactured relocation in which Oakland had no chance of keeping the team. Oakland was used as leverage so John Fisher could obtain public funds from other cities. MLB encouraged this by waving the $500mm+ relocation fee while doing nothing to mediate the situation in Oakland.

MLB has an anti-trust exemption which was granted to stop MLb teams from relocating, especially from cities like Oakland. If we want to hold MLB accountable, it takes action.

This link is quick, easy, and automatically finds your reps when you put in your address. If you want an easy way to take action, please consider filling it out today. Many thanks as we spent a bit of time creating this site.

Contact Congress in 60 seconds about MLB’s antitrust exemption (Oakland A’s relocation)

MLB is one of the only major industries in the United States that still operates under a federal antitrust exemption meaning it has unique legal protection that other leagues and businesses don’t.

That exemption comes with responsibility. And right now, there are serious questions about whether it’s being abused.

The relocation of the Oakland A’s has raised concerns about:

Lack of good-faith effort to remain in Oakland

Coordinated decisions between ownership and the league

Waiving of relocation fees that are supposed to protect cities and fans

Congress has held hearings on MLB before… including on this exact exemption. They have the authority to do it again.

Simply click the link to contact your reps in less than 60 seconds!

Thanks Sacramento

Went to the game on Saturday. By far worst of the series. Despite that - everyone I met from staff to fans were super chill and friendly. Keep it up Sacramento. I feel like the city is caught in the middle of some drama but this is my second time being here for a game (home opener last year). The experience improved quite a bit and last year was fun as well. Love the bridge in the skyline. Lexus club is super laid back and cool. Can’t wait to get back.

Off Day Thoughts!

Still riding the highs of yesterday, what an awesome day! Rooker’s walk off had me jumping out of my seat and had everyone loud and proud. Can’t wait to see what more the season has in store.

Looking forward to next week’s homestand! What’s your favorite day of the work week to head to the park? Of course Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are easy but wanted to know your thoughts on which weekday is your favorite. Mine has to be Wednesdays. Nothing like getting out to the park as a reward of getting halfway through the work week.

Ready for more action tomorrow, go A’s!!💚💛
