I've noticed the following in bi spaces:

"I'm exploring my bi-side." "My (opposite sex patrtner) knows about my bisexual experience." or something along the lines of "I'm craving my first bisexual sexual encounter."

In all of those conversations, the bisexual thing was same-sex sexual encounters. In almost 100% of the conversations, same-sex stuff is named, but opposite sex stuff is unmarked (I went on a date vs. my first bi-date).

Why don't folks call opposite-sex encounters bi as well? It really does appear to minimize and other same-sex relationships.

Is it comphet that makes "straight" the default, and folks buy into it uncritically?
Is it homophobia that wants us to distance ourselves from "homosexual" or "gay?"
Is it something else? Honestly curious, I'm a bi man who has been with my male partner for 30 years. Myself and other bi people in same sex relationships sometimes find stuff like this isolating.

Okay so I am one 100% straight. In real life i dont see women romantically. All my crushes have been men and i feel genuinely attracted to men and the idea of sex with them. But while watching porn. I find myself only aroused by lesbian porn and if theres a man in the picture I lose interest honestly. I find the women on screen hot ngl. Why does this happen. If its fictional men i have nooo problem. They're hot. Fictional straight porn is okay too. Idk do I have phobia of real dihs or smthn? Im just curious as to why this happens honestly.
