Anime tier list per season

(excuse my english) to be honest I didn't want to make one just yet cuz there are anime I love with seasons I'm yet to watch (like mob or kaguya, gotta catch up on that) and overall haven't watched that much series, but just came across a pretty cool website in another post so I decided to give it a try.

PD: I did it per season (for example even though tokyo revengers has one of the worst final arcs in manga I still think the first season was cool)

PD: I tried to be somewhat objective (of course its impossible in its totality), but if it were 100% subjective school days would be in the highest tier and I'm not joking, I'll defend that series till the end of my days (I guess growing up with messy mexican novels did something on my brain).

PD: don't pay much attention to each tier anime order, I tried it at the start but gave up halfway through.

Ani-Sync CLI to sync manga and anime progress between MyAnimeList, AniList, Kitsu, and MangaBaka

If you track anime/manga on multiple sites and hate updating them all manually, I just released Ani-Sync.

It's a CLI tool built in Rust that seamlessly synchronizes your lists across MyAnimeList, AniList, Kitsu, and MangaBaka.

https://preview.redd.it/gzsuk43jnsvg1.png?width=1115&format=png&auto=webp&s=8ad639eea76cb748a67fecbf474a1601ce7ff5f9

Why use it?

  • Non-Destructive: It only adds or updates entries; your data history is safe.
  • ID-Based Precision: Uses exact media IDs so no guessing game with titles.
  • Rich Previews: Shows a colorized terminal table of the sync plan before you commit.
  • Secure: Uses your OS's native credential manager to store tokens securely.

Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux! 🔗 https://github.com/Gilfaro/ani-sync

I built a webapp for anime tierlist.

https://myanitier.top

tierlist example

homepage

  • Identical tier layout to Tiermaker (user-experience for the tier rows should be familiar if you used Tiermaker)
  • Full access to anilist database, no manual image upload or using "outdated" templates from tiermaker.
  • Optional Anilist/MAL login to pick from your own watchlist
  • Comprehensive anime filter to create your own presets (Genre, Tags, Format, Studio, Season, Source-Material)
  • Photo Mode (hides most UI elements for a screenshot)

I chose anilist as the main data source due to their Tags instead of MAL.

I built a “Tinder for anime” app with AniList + MyAnimeList sync

Hey everyone,

[UPDATE]

Quick update on the app I’ve been building I recently added MAL sync and fixed a few bugs, but there’s still room for improvement. I’ll keep working on it over the next few months.

I don’t think it’ll reach the level of MyAnimeList or AniList anytime soon, but hey, never say never. I’d really appreciate any feedback good or bad, everything helps.

The main idea was simple:

Finding new anime should be fast and fun not endless scrolling.

So I built a swipe-based discovery system (yeah, kinda like Tinder 😅), but combined it with full tracking and sync.

👉 What it does:

• Swipe through anime to quickly find something new

• Smart recommendations based on your taste

• Track everything in one place

🔥 What makes it different:

• AniList + MyAnimeList sync

• Episode progress tracking

• Auto episode count tracking

• Notifications when new episodes drop

• Full list system (Watching, Completed, Paused, Dropped, Plan to Watch)

• Clean, fast UI (no clutter)

Basically I wanted something that combines:

👉 discovery + tracking + simplicity

I’m still improving it and adding features, so I’d really appreciate feedback (good or bad 🙏)

Website - aninext.app

Also curious:

👉 How do you usually discover new anime?

Thanks!

I built an Android app that integrates directly with AniList — Kagami

I'm an AniList user and wanted a dedicated Android tracker that felt native to the platform. So I built Kagami.

Your list, your scores, your status — all synced directly with AniList.

Features:

  • Full anime & manga list management
  • Upcoming episode notifications
  • Seasonal anime browser
  • Character info, trailers, related series
  • iOS version in development

Free with optional premium. First app I've published — AniList community feedback especially welcome since you're the target audience.

Official name in Play Store: Kagami: Anime & Manga Tracker

AniBridge v2: Synchronize Plex, Jellyfin, Emby to AniList, MyAnimeList

AniBridge is a synchronization tool to keep your media library watch activity (from Plex, Jellyfin, Emby) up to date with anime tracking services (AniList, MyAnimeList). It scans, polls, and listens for webhooks from your media library to update your list accordingly.

The project was originally released in 2024 under the name 'PlexAniBridge'. Some of you might have seen the original Reddit announcement last year. Following a complete architectural rewrite for v2, the project has been rebranded and expanded to support multiple media servers and tracking services with a platform-agnostic design that can be easily extended in the future (Trakt support is in the works!).

AniBridge:

  • Syncs your watch status, progress, ratings, reviews, and start/completion dates
  • Is powered by anibridge/anibridge-mappings, a cross-provider mappings database with over 250,000 entries tailored to anime titles (the largest of its kind)
  • Supports Plex, Jellyfin, Emby, AniList, MyAnimeList, and creating/installing third-party providers through a plugin system
  • Supports setting up multiple profiles to simultaneously synchronize different users, libraries, and servers with granular configuration
  • Includes a web dashboard to monitor/manage your syncs, profiles, custom mappings, etc
  • Available as a Docker image and Unraid template

If this is your first time hearing about AniBridge, welcome! Resources and a screenshot:

Keep track of skipped episodes

Ahoy, just wanted to ask how do you keep track of those episodes of an anime that you skip, like for fillers. Cause there is no way to track single episodes (as far as i know?) so, for example, if i watch episode 21, then i skip filler episode 22 (and i dont track it) and then i watch episode 23 and i track that, it automatically tracks also episode 22. Idk i wonder if there is a way or, if not, how do you manage with that
