It's a been a hot minute since i last posted here, but i feel as i have made enough large progress that it warranted a post here. let me start by saying the project is now on github!, with two current version available, the main branch is the stable branch of the project but doesn't often get updated, while the dev-test branch is more frequently updated but prone to breaking. speaking of dev-test, i would like to proudly proclaim that the audio issues in the cutscenes of Ace combat 6 are officially FIXED!, no more annoying audio delay!. There remains a couple of audio issues that remain in game (Most noticeable in the first half of the first mission) but these are being worked on as we speak! alongside the pixelated effects like clouds and explosions. I was recommended some Initial D vid by him so I decided to check out his channel and looks like a bunch of videos are back including some new ones.

Nassault still has a bunch of videos hidden (Diapason, Operation Bunkershot, Emancipation) but many of them are available again plus a bunch of new ones!

maybe stupid question

I’ve been googling and people mention a lot of SPs but I never seen anyone mention the ADMM as one of the best. It’s the only sp I’ve been using and it is fantastic, I haven’t even wanted to try anything else.

Am i missing something as to why it’s never mentioned? (At least not that I’ve seen)

There are three reasons as to why I believe that Ace Combat 8 will release in September of this year:

1. September will mark the 25th Anniversary of Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies (Distant Thunder for Europeans), which was the first game to introduce us to Strangereal (Ace Combat 1, Ace Combat 2, and Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere have been retconned to have occurred in Strangereal after the release of Ace Combat 4).

2. It falls in the nine month mark of the game being announced; many video game companies TYPICALLY release in the window of 8 to 10 months of announcement.

3. September is the halfway point of Japan’s Fiscal Year, and from what we have seen, the game is ready. PA has said that they are doing QA tests.
