I know horse racing isn't for everyone but as a horse family it was a bucket list item we've been saving to do for many years. We finally got to go this weekend. With the first female trainer to win the derby, I thought this picture was appropriate as my 28 year old daughter placed a bet alone without anyone to help her.

My partner’s aunt, uncle, cousin, and dog all came to visit our 600 sq ft apartment. The three of them somehow all fit on our 2 person couch and looked over my partner’s design portfolio while their dog sat on my meditation cushion. Their dog passed away this week and this is such a glowing wonderful memory of him ❤️
