The time i received this product it was in normal conditions and today morning I saw there is something wrong with this?? Thank. god i haven't eaten this.
I ordered a package valued 1700 and got all these, after all the in app discounts I had paid 1500 but I raised some complaints by claiming some items were missing and I got refunded and I got almost 900 back I only spent around 600 on my massive order. Aita for doing this.
I’ve had multiple frustrating experiences with Zepto over the past 2–3 months, and I’m honestly concerned about their quality checks at this point.
1. Spoiled almond milk (twice!)
A few days back, I ordered Alt almond milk. The package was already tampered with when it arrived. I still opened it (my mistake) and the milk was sour and clearly spoiled.
I raised a complaint, got a refund + replacement — but guess what? The replacement was ALSO spoiled. Same sour smell and taste.
This made me question:
Are they storing expired/damaged products and still sending them out?
2. Rotten chicken from Licious via Zepto
I ordered chicken (Licious) through Zepto, and it smelled absolutely horrible — like a drain. Completely unusable. This is not just inconvenience, it’s a serious health concern.
3. App issues when raising complaints
There’s a very suspicious pattern whenever you try to report an issue:
The app crashes
Photo uploads fail repeatedly
Complaint process gets stuck
It feels like the platform makes it harder for you to actually report problems.
4. Current issue (today)
Ordered avocado — received it completely raw/unusable.
Tried to raise a complaint → photo upload glitch again. Can’t even submit the issue.
Comparison:
I ordered the same almond milk from Blinkit and it arrived perfectly fine. So clearly, the issue isn’t the product — it’s Zepto’s handling/storage.
What’s most alarming is the clear lack of quality control. Getting spoiled products once might be a mistake, but repeated incidents — including rotten chicken — point to a systemic issue in how Zepto handles perishable items.
It also raises serious concerns about whether compromised or near-expiry products are being sent out without proper checks, which directly affects customer safety.
On top of that, the complaint process is frustratingly unreliable — app crashes and upload failures make it unnecessarily hard to report issues, limiting accountability.
After multiple experiences like this, it’s hard to trust the platform at all.
Has anyone else faced similar issues with Zepto?
Would really like to know if this is a widespread problem or just extremely bad luck on my end.
At this point, I’m seriously reconsidering using the platform altogether.
