Did Regular Bruiser Xin got nerfed?

They downed the base AS from E a Little bit for the AP changes.

So is the regular Xin Build (sundered-cleaver-sterak-dd) nerfed with E having less AS?

New player, build?

So im thinking of picking up Xin as my old main feels like shit to play. Played xin a couple times and he seems really solid, but one thing that is really confusing me is the build, what are you supposed to run this season. Sundered into cleaver? Been seeing lots of people saying sundered sucks on xin, do u go ap then? I have legit no idea.

How to build AP. What runes to pick?

So i was following Skaarlners guide for Xin Zhao top, still am! Im curious as to how i should be building for AP Xin top lane. I start Dusk and Dawn and then go Kraken but after that im usually just selecting recommended items for whoever is strongest on opposite team. Not sure if that's how i should be doing it or not?On his guide he recommends crit builds as the default build.

Might be a dumb question i assume AP AD and then crit items are all separate? Or at least AP and crit? The second parter is runes i run three rune sets, i can go mor in depth in then if your unfamiliar with the guide and if you need me to link it i also can! Im curious when to run what rune sets against what champs. If anyone knows the guide and can give me help that'd be awesome! Ive gotten lucky with the last few matchups but boy is that luck gunna run out soon lol. Thanks in advance for any help!

Do you guys like to play Xin more on Top, Mid or Supp

Curious to know where do you have the most fun with him, Top has some hard matchups (Malphite, Aatrox,Trynda, Sett, Morde, Garen (cause of passive)etc),

Mid has scalers (Veigar, Kass, Viktor) but you just win almost every champion though there is skill matchups like Irelia, Akali

I tried him Supp as a change to Pantheon, and he's actually very good and fun to play, lemme know if there's more Xin supps here i'm not very familiar what are the toughest matchups to play against over there, cause i can pretty much almost one shot adc at some point so what should i ban

Optimal Full AP Xin for split 2

Electrocute as keystone, the rest is depending on your pref, but you need a mana regen secondary rune

Protobelt-lichbane-rabadon as core, lucidity boots are a must here, last two items can be more ap or some hybrid things.

tons of dmg upfront, very good lvl 3 dmg burst, can easily one shot if you snowball, dark seal into mejai very good to catch people like an assassin. Very oppressive in lane when snowballing because you can stay in lane forever healing.

E-aa-W as very basic combo vs ppl with escape/disengage like quinn, gragas, kennen

E-aa-Q-W vs champs that are not mobile

All the powerbudget on this build is around healing/big hybrid burst from W, E and R

This is pretty much the build i used during my GM climb for AP xin in S15, but it is now way stronger than before. Some improvements are possible, but this will be my way of playing for the next few weeks until i get bored of the build and find something else to experiment with.

I'm a Xin AD otp mid , with the AP buffs is it worth going AP instead of AD on lane ?

I've never been a fan of AP on Xin (i'm rly fan of crit builds for the moment Reaver, Infinity Edge etc..) , but if you guys have suggestions, or think it's better in this meta to lane with AP i'm all ears. thanks for help !

It is finally time for him to come back

The only question is, how would you build him? Since if you go too hard into AP, you get blown up before healing.

The conservative approach would probably be D&D + Riftmaker into Visage and Unending Despair. That way you have a lot of haste to have lots of E uptimes. Maybe a Shojin would fit in here as well or something else? Rabadon's?

Shiv would be the meme multi proc item for fights, but other than that, it kinda doesn't give you what you want. Sure, the AS is nice, but neither haste nor defense kinda stinks.

Wouldn't go Nashor's at all, too extreme in terms of offense. Makes you just blow up.

Another crazy idea would be going D&D + Rabadon's into Visage + Despair.

One question is tho, does his E AS scaling work with runes like Legend:Alacrity or AS shard? Cuz for Garen spin and Kai'sa E evolve it doesn't.

So are you guys taking AP Xin in the jg or is it more for lane?

The AP updates are certainly refreshing. Is squishy AP Xin what’s being taken to lane? Is there an AP bruiser build or even hybrid build that could work in jungle? (SS into D&D maybe rift maker?)

Been testing out the new items with Xin. Healing oriented build seems pretty strong and fun to play. Was literally out healing Mundo LOL

Actually came here to ask if anyone else has been trying it out and what builds have you found success with thus far?

For these games my build path was Dusk & Dawn -> Statik Shiv -> into bruiser. Using Conquerer keystone.

Why is Xin Zhao so prevalent in PRO Play ... With such a bad win rate in solo queue?

As the title says.

Xin Zhao, Wukong, Jarvan, Pantheon, Nocturne, etc. They are all very common in Pro Play. And for the exception of Nocturne, all other champions mentioned have very low win rate in solo queue.

Is Xin Zhao very hard to play correctly?

With the AP changes what are some good builds

I never really played many AP champs so I'm not sure what will be good on Xin. I've seen Dusk & Dawn and Nashors so far but what else will be good?

Heal max.

I been going Sundered> Boots > Dusk and Dawn > riftmaker > spirits > situational.

Feels real good and you heal so much.
