I was thinking of lotto spinning a few times to see if I could get a ship. Is the Verdi worth the risk of getting unlucky for the remaining currency? If I did get a ship which one should I hope for?

I've been playing World of Warships on PC for 10 years now. During this time I have accumulated ~26k of battles and my win rate is ~60%. I think I am quite an experienced player with a good understanding of the general game mechanics.

People say Legends is a different game compared to it's big brother. Faster, more action, less complex. At this point I have played like 250 battles in Legends. There are many things I like about Legends (mission design, interesting commander system etc.) but there is one thing that really bothers me:

Why is everyone so overly passive? Yesterday I played some cruiser on Tier 8. A BB and a DM parked right next to a cap behind an island. At that point, I decided to just stand next to them and watch to see what theyey would do. To my surprise they didn't do ANYTHING for several minutes. Same thing for the opposing team. That cap just stayed uncontested and noone could see anything.

From PC I know people complaining about camping and cowardish play style. Never been one of those people. But what I experience in Legends is next level.

If you ask me, that's no way to win battles and it's no fun either. What is your experience?

Almost have 600k exp saved up and starting to look at EXP ships, what have people had fun with so far? I have the Atago and Flandre already.

I genuinely can't stand these things, no other ship in the game is a bigger problem than these filthy destroyers, mindless missile drones that obliterate you if you can't see into the future.

Positioning is useless when you are a 25kn BB that takes 3 business days to reposition and the fact the enemy destroyers can see you and can simply look at how you turn and adjust.

I am so damn tired of these things, especially Japanese destroyers, I don't understand how to not get screwed by them every single time. If they do get spotted I shoot at them, and either miss every shot because they are tiny as hell or don't do enough damage quick enough and then they go undetected, to then sneak up on me and unload 100k+ damage with no time to dodge because once again, I can't see into the future.

On soviet tech tree, there's a tier 4 light cruiser, Kotovsky, that's doing my head in. In it's flavor text, it makes it sound that Kotovsky was just a project that didn't make it out of design propostion phase, yet flavor text says that she entered service in 1933 and that there was 1 ship in series.

I've tried to search for more information about her online (mainly wikipedia to be honest) and i haven't found anything about her so i can't confirm of Kotovsky is a real ship that's just extremely obscure or if she was just a propesed design that never even got approved for being built.

So whats the secret to winning ranked? I ask cause I've played a few battles and I've had players AFK, dd's hiding behind bb's, no one capping the points. So please help me

For the ranked I dusted of my old Mustu, and with the aviabilty of Haruna and my love of stupid secondary bb I thougt - lets try that.
Damn its fun, with the Speed boost she got she can do 30kt, that’s quite fast for t5, her guns are inaccurate but who cares.
The armor is Non existent, one Broadside and your gone, but it’s so much fun.
Her 140mm secondarys have 10% Fire Chance, 6.7sec Reload and over 8,5 km Range, even the disperion is Great.
It’s not really good, but damn is it fun

Legends, we have been made aware of an issue with Marcantonio Colonna's Enhanced Secondary Targeting II consumable not boosting her secondary gun accuracy.

A fix for it is on the way and is planned to be released together with the next update in 2.5 weeks from now.

So i was playing Dunkerque and had a random Teammate who was quite competent in his T5 dutch cruiser, we cleared 3 ships together, and in the end it was down to a 4v3 in our favor.

The cruiser and I capped the B cap, using rocks for cover. So i had a dutch cruiser sitting right on top of me. That's about as good of an AA support as i could get and i still saw the CV first killing me in two consecutive torp drops and once i was dead he killed the cruiser with ease too.

Seriously wtf is this dogshit game balance, where one class, that doesn't need to risk anything at all, gets to do this for absolutely free. Both of us couldnt have played this any better and yet we still absolutely got cucked by one single carrier.

It's honestly just annoying and frustrating to fight against.

Hi everyone, I'm a Japanese player.

I’ve dedicated myself to the Shimakaze and recently reached 8,415 total kills with her. Personally, I have never seen anyone with a higher kill count for this specific ship. However, I know there is always someone better out there in the world.

I actually wanted to share a shocking 18-second clip of my 8,000-kill milestone moment, but Reddit’s spam filter rejected it because my account is brand new. (So frustrating! lol)

I’m genuinely curious: Does anyone know what the current global kill record is for the Shimakaze? Is 8,415 considered a high number in the global community?

I have a screenshot of my permanent camo tracking showing the 8,415 kills, so I can provide proof if anyone wants to see it.

I’d love to hear your thoughts or any data from the global community. Thank you!

Does anyone actually enjoy these?

I’m getting countless of these games lately and the entire game essentially boils down to the efforts of 1 player.

Infuriating to play literally anything when there’s zero spotting for 13+ minutes due to 1 person dying, and also absurd to task 1 person with spotting for the entire team.

At least in zero destroyer games it’s fair and both sides are equally handicapped (theoretically).
