Horizon West Cell Service ??

Hi all!

I’m relocating to the Horizon West area, and my new job is letting me choose my cellular carrier. For those living in Horizon West, which carrier has the best overall service and coverage in the area, in your opinion?

Thanks in advance!

Does anyone know of a boutique, charity, or domestic violence shelter that supports women in need by providing clothing and accessories? I’m not interested in donating to Goodwill or similar because they’ll just be sold for a low price to people who also shop at malls.

Are there any plans to open a post office near Hamlin?
While 20 mins isn’t “far”, that being how close the closest one is sucks. I go there 2-3 times a week for work related stuff so that’s gonna stink
(I know there’s a ups but I specifically use usps)

Any good abandoned places?

I've been wanting to find places to explore during the summer that aren't a bio hazard or completely trashed.

Currently a member at Mister car washes, but wanted some opinions if there are any better places in/around Winter Garden off 50 area.

These love bugs are no joke right now and Mister car wash doesn’t have any type of pre-wash or bug wash to do some of the hard work beforehand.

TIA!

WG Comprehensive Plan Update May 18th

The city staff are sharing the report on updates to the comprehensive plan on Monday May 18th 2-4 and 6:30-8:30.

These opportunities don't come around often.

For me the greatest opportunity the city can do to improve and protect the economic activity and character of the community is to initiate the Dillard Street project and expand the historic district.

Dillard Street traffic calming, landscaping and sidewalks will improve economic activity, safety and provide a more accessible connection to east Winter Garden.

The current historic district is way too small. There are additional homes south of Plant and east of Dillard that should be saved that can only be accomplished by expanding the historic district. Even with an expansion it doesn't guarantee older homes will be protected, but it gives the lovable older homes a chance.

We have a bunch of gold jewelry sitting in a drawer that we'd like to sell for melt value, plus a handful of old coins (mostly silver dollars dating back to late 1800s/early 1900s). Any legit place to sell locally? Thanks.
