A very gentle video demonstration of just how long Cass' whiskers are. Best part starts at :46 and that's not even his longest whisker!

Cass' whiskers, like most cats, are extremely sensitive. I am always very careful when interacting with them, and at no point do I do anything that Cass finds uncomfortable. It's pretty easy to tell by his demeanor, but I wanted to include the disclaimer just in case.

Miss River, less than a year old!

I do believe young River belongs here. Can't imagine what they will be like when she is 2 years or older!

Tippy Tuesday!

Tippy has been a little extra this week, as you can tell by her fireworks. She still hopes everyone has a great Tuesday.

Fireworks display part 2 with Gizmo. Also wants to make sure you can see his tonsils! Do cats *have* tonsils?

Yes I need to dust the blinds. Sorry.

MOD POST - Influx of Bots

Hello everyone

We're aware that, once again, there is an influx of bots on Reddit who are commenting and posting on various subs to build karma. For the most part, our own bot manages to catch these posts and comments, as the sub has required karma/age limits to be able to post without being sent through to the moderator queue.

However, we do know that some of these bots make it through the filters due to the age/karma on their accounts. We do try our best to catch as many of these as we can, but appreciate that we do sometimes miss bot engagements, especially comments.

For those of you who have been reporting comments/posts to the moderators here at r/WhiskerFireworks, we thank you very much and ask that you continue to do so if you see them. We would rather something be reported twice and we get the chance to action it, than not report it at all and we miss it.

It would also be really appreciated if you can report any bot posts/comments to Reddit admin as well so they can ban the accounts. You can do this by clicking Report > Spam > Disruptive use of Bots or AI. If you are unsure, then do feel free to contact the moderating team and we can help with this.

In the meantime, we wanted to thank everyone who makes this the wonderful community it is; whether you're posting your pet here for the first time, or they're a regular fixture on the sub, it's always a pleasure to see so many wonderful whisker fireworks every day 😊
