just grabbed this massive plant for half off although i think its a little over due for a repot. believe it also has some pests which maybe isn't the best idea to take home with me but im giving it the full treatment it deserves now

Habe die Pflanze in meinem Arbeitszimmer lange ignoriert weils ihr immer gut ging. Jetzt doch mal zum Umtopfen entschieden. War wohl doch schon länger Zeit 😅

Plant novice here. Is this the right place to ask advice?

Received this about 2 years ago and just kept watering it. There’s not a lot of soil left.

How do I fix this issue? Would I just plant it in some house plant tropical soil and call it good?

I don’t want to shock the poor thing by just taking it out of its 2 year bath…

Both advice and shaming encouraged :)
