A recent report came out claiming Wells Fargo engages in racially discriminatory lending practices, such as denying Black & Latino families' home loans more often than those from white families, even when they make MORE money

Members of Wells Fargo Workers United (WFWU) are disappointed yet again to see Wells Fargo fail to support its customers as 'well-s' as it could. WFWU wishes to share this report because we want to see our company become a better place for both workers and customers! And it's going to take the help of all of us workers and all of you externally to see it happen through a strong labor union

A link to the exact Redlining Report can be found here: https://ourfinancialsecurity.org/resources/wells-fargo-dreams-denied/

Wells Fargo office employee, 10+ years, terminated during active FMLA—has anyone else experienced this under ADA/FMLA?

Hi everyone, I’m a former Wells Fargo employee posting anonymously. I worked onsite in an office‑based role for over 10 years and was terminated in the first quarter of 2026 while on active FMLA, with no prior PIP, no corrective‑action documentation, and no warning. I’d like to know if other Wells Fargo employees have gone through similar situations involving ADA, FMLA, and retaliation.

Here’s my situation in brief:

• I had been with Wells Fargo for over a decade in a call‑center with case management responsibility .

• I was on active FMLA leave for a documented medical condition in 2025; fired in 2026 for attendance.

• There was no interactive‑process conversation, no written warnings, and no PIP.

• I was terminated while still on active FMLA, with no explanation tied to performance and no prior disciplinary record.

I believe this may amount to failure to accommodate under the ADA and retaliation for taking FMLA‑protected leave.

If you’re a current or former Wells Fargo employee who has experienced something similar, I’d really appreciate hearing your story. Please only share what you’re comfortable disclosing (no names, exact locations, or specific dates necessary):

Did you request ADA accommodations or FMLA leave at Wells Fargo?

Were your accommodations denied or replaced with leave only (e.g., pushed into unpaid leave instead of flexible schedule, remote work, or modified duties)?

Were you later placed on a PIP, demoted, or terminated during or shortly after FMLA, or after asking for ADA support?

Did you receive any written warnings or performance‑related documentation before the termination?

Have you contacted an employment‑law attorney, filed an EEOC, or state‑level complaint?

If you’re open to it, you can reply here or DM me anonymously (if the platform allows it). I’m not a lawyer and this isn’t legal advice, but I want to connect with others whose experiences may mirror mine so we can better understand patterns and potential next steps.

Thanks in advance for any insights you’re willing to share.

Wells Fargo Apprenticeship

Was just hoping to see if anyone had any info on Well Fargo Military Apprenticeships? I was just notified I made it to the next round of interviews. Was just trying to see how likely it is that they will hire you on fully considering you do the job well of course? I would be relocating for this position, so just want to see if it’s worth that risk or not lol. Any info is appreciated. It’s within the Wealth and Investment Management department.

Can previous managers help in rehire eligibility?

I was terminated in March from corporate banking position and made ineligible for rehire. I had been with this team 6 months after being promoted. I was already at Wells for two years prior. I came into the new team with an inconsistently meets rating from my previous manager. I was given that rating bc everyone on my team could not be given a meets and some new people had to take the L. I was given another IM rating on this new team for more legit reasons and was terminated for that. I’ve spoken to my previous manager and they have said they would change the rating if asked about it and offered to vouch for me in any way. I have a call with HR on Monday does anyone think I could have a chance? I’ve spoken to two previous managers total who said they would vouch for me any way they could

National Right to Work Foundation, more like National Right to Work Less Foundation

Also, here's a short 2-pager on:

  • Why a union is necessary
  • Who the national 'right to work' foundation is
  • And how groups like them have posed roadblocks to grassroots efforts to unionize and negotiate contracts

This document answers all of these! Feel free to comment on what shocks you about this, or if there's anything else you want to know
