Obligatory quarterly question, I know...

I've been keeping tabs on it over the past year or so as I'm weighing a move later this summer... I know inventory (housing shortage) is an ongoing problem, but how does it feel like the market is going now that we're in a war/gas prices are high/more frequent floods/etc? A realtor I spoke with said she's seeing more buyers backing out of contracts and she hasn't seen this happening at this rate in a number of years, though - fwiw - this may not actually be a trend as I've only heard this from her.

Any insight is helpful from buyers, sellers, realtors, or anyone else with an opinion on the matter! Thx!

It's been over 2 years since Matthew Blankman was shot and killed by a Waukesha County Sheriff responding to a mental health crisis called in by his fiance. Does anyone have an update on this killing? I think of his fiance and daughter often.

This is a perfect example of why Waukesha County sheriffs need to wear body cams!

I'm hoping another car guy out there might be able to help. I have some Fifteen52 Tarmac's and need to get them paint matched to the car. I've called around to a few shops with great reviews around here and nobody is willing to touch wheels, even the Tarmac with the flat and wide 5 spokes. I had no idea that wheels are now off limits for paint and body shops. Powder coating guys are ready to take the wheels, but they unfortunately can't color match. Has anyone had wheels painted around here before? I appreciate the help. Thank you.

Hello all! I am looking to see if there is anywhere in town that sells items related to Waukesha? (prints, cutting boards, etc.) I know there’s some boutiques in the downtown area, but I feel like those are mostly clothes. Does anyone know of any shop that sells like home good-esc things that might have stuff like this? Thank you!

Light brown, looks like a young Shiba, green collar. Seen wandering around between Center Rd and Prairie Rd. Neighbors have sighted it sleeping under trees, may have been loose for days. Mailman says he thinks he recognizes the dog from as far west as Oakdale.
