Weapon Breakage
Gotta say, I feel like the weapon breakage rules are pretty punishing, but there's one bit I just can't get out of my head.
- Bronze spear (the apex weapon of Greek warfare, the thing the entire culture organized phalanxes around): explodes on a stiff breeze. (roll 4 or less on any d20 attack roll), so it explodes 20% of attacks.
- Bow (a stick under constant tension that is historically the most fragile real-world weapon, the kind of thing that snaps when the humidity changes): functionally indestructible. (break of 0, can't break)
