After many issues, I got rid of my resin printer a short while ago. I recently picked up an Anycubic Kobra S1 filament printer with the Ace Pro multicolor/dryer. I was planning on making terrain and such because I have a bunch of minis anyways, and my other fdm didn’t inspire confidence in high detail.

Well - I was wrong! I decided to adjust the settings a bit, still using a .4 nozzle, and I am thrilled with these results! I’m printing the rest of the cadre now and I’m so excited to be able to still print minis, and to have them in nice, durable plastic instead!

So - if you have an FDM printer, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t print nice minis!!

Adepticon delivered in every way, and this episode drops you right onto the convention floor with us as we take in the chaos, the games, and the energy of the weekend. From unpredictable doubles matchups and brutal moments with the Orgoth Butcher to the rise of Riggles becoming an absolute legend, every round gave us something worth talking about. More than anything, this trip was about the community. Meeting listeners, getting games in with people we've only talked to online, and sharing the experience with a room full of passionate players is what makes events like this special. Between the madness of the narrative event, the late-night hobby grind, and seeing Steamforged fully engaged with the players, it's clear the game is in a great place. We left exhausted, running on fumes, and already wanting more. If you've been thinking about going to an event like this, do it.

Painted these guys up a couple weeks ago, mostly as an excuse to try out some things with oil washes. My wife and I had wanted to give them a try back in the day, but missed our chance. I'm super pumped to now be able to print all this stuff off!
