Between the V3 and V4 which has the better water resistance?
I currently have the previous gen 15L, I enjoy it very much but since have gotten more lenses and may need more space. I was considering getting the 31L. Im tempted to get the V4 version but after looking at the materials and reading some reviews Im worried its thinner and less water resistant then the V3. What are people’s thoughts that have had both or been in considerable rain with the V4. I know I can buy the waterproof cover but just another hassle/cost to an already expensive bag.

White rings inside Rogue 6L
Inside the back pocket of my Rogue 6 liter that I just bought are these two circular rings sewn in. Why are they there? They look kind of cheap and tacky compared to the rest of the quality of the bag.
