100 GIRLFRIENDS TRIO TUESDAYS #49: Mei, Uto and Himeka!
Welcome r/100Kanojo, to the fourty-ninth ever installment of my own series which is heavily inspired by u/ansomn, TRIO TUESDAYS! This dedicates to each and every single possible trios of Rentarou's harem that are randomly configured and together we will find a common theme between the three of the selected girlfriends.

The way that the Trio Tuesdays work is that this follows a Venn Diagram format. We first have to find the three combinations of friendships of each pair and as well as that, their friendship as a whole.
A short introduction to the trio at hand, we have the maid from the Hanazono residence Mei Meido being the 8th girlfriend, and we have both Uto Nakaji the 19th girlfriend of the Rentarou family harem and as well as the very normal abnormal girl man whatever, Himeka Saiki the 26th girlfriend throughout the series so far! I hope you guys are ready for what is about to come!
With that, let's dive in to the three pairs:
1.) Mei and Uto
Status: The bard's companion!
Just imagine this for a single chapter idea, this might borrow something from Frieren but that would be okay. Still, this tracks for a very nice adventure series between the two given how much Uto is a lovely little pretend adventurer with her small pond and her outfit just chilling in the wilderness. Mei is just there carrying out her duties like usual being the companion for Uto's philosophical and life questioning adventures. A chapter like this would bring these two much more interest.
2.) Uto and Himeka
Status: I think, therefore I don't!
For being somewhat useful of a life therapist and a philosophical buff, there will always come a pretty abnormal person who will take her advices much more without any regard, or to with opposite regard. That could probably be Himeka and her very abnormal shenanigans. Although it might take for Uto to kind of get used to it, this will take some time to kind of have them two be chilling with each other for the future interactions that they have with their relationship that will slowly but surely bloom very soon.
3.) Himeka and Mei
Status: The anti-maid!
Directly, there is no sort of interaction we can inherently think of. However, using their basic capabilities and their gimmicks so far in the story, this could be in another maid like situation for the likes of somebody like Himeka, and for the likes of Himeka, she is ready to do something way out of the very ordinary for the maid. Not that it's a pretty bad thing, but it could be a great bonding time for the both of them, with Mei most likely not minding at all.
With these three pairs out of the way, let's take a look on their overall relationship:
Overall relationship: An IQ too high?
Definitely, there seems to be some intellectual conflicts around here, especially for both Uto and Himeka and their holistic beliefs, but Mei is pretty much there to keep the trio smooth and afloat throughout. There are definitely going to be some moments where the cool and calm collected Mei would help carry them both as people, but also just dumb it down with some of the silly moments with both Uto and Himeka and with their crazies. Overall, it's a pretty stupid one in hindsight, but it's okay.
