Thrifted this lil faux leather bag and decided to collage it up. All my bones are ethically sourced, sanitized and bleached by me. Last photo is the bag under a UV light to cure the resin

I kind of let my hand guide me again while making this, and I honestly don’t know why a cross came to mind when the design itself feels pretty fleshy and organic. I think the phrase “a cross to bear” just stuck with me for a moment, and I ended up blending that feeling into the whole piece.
