This is what I imagine the 2028 expansion will look like based on my Dwayne “the Rock” solid evidence.

Most current teams will keep their current location. Stallions, Aviators, Renegades, Defenders, Gamblers, Kings, and Storm will all return to their current city. The exception is the Battlehawks, who will be relocated to the Demilitarized Zone, because fuck’em.

Memphis Showboats will be brought back! However, due to low attendance and viewership numbers during the 2025 season they will instead play in Memphis, Egypt.

Seattle Seadragons will be brought back under the ownership of Clay Bennett and become the new Oklahoma City team, (renamed Oklahoma City Lightning).

The Dwayne Rockheads will be a new team located on the Easter Islands Polynesia. Their logo will just be a picture of Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson’s face.

Last, the Cleveland Browns will be relegated to the UFL and purchased by wealthy Al Nayhan family and moved to Dubai. This to be extra sure google searches for the “Dubai Browns” doesn’t come up with wealthy Arab trillionaires paying female Instagram influencers for them to poop in their mouths.
