Everyone around me told me that private universities are mafias. It doesn't matter in which university you studied, you should have skills which would be more or less taught in every uni, whether priv or govt. Is it right? Should i spend lacs in priv unis? Obv it matters a lot for me to spend such a huge amount for making a small difference.
So my question is can a fsc pre med student pursue mechanical engineering or mechatronics from uet??

I recently gave ecat 1 and I scored 220 which is good in my opinion but my aggregate is 68%
I fumbled in 1st year
I wnated to study mech engineering from uet but my aggregate is very low I wanted to ask if i have a chance in industrial engineering?🙏🏻
Is it a good decision to study industrial engineering now and then do masters in mechanical engineering?? I think i could improve by 6 7 percent if I give ecat 2 but not more than that 🥲

My roommates are all gone, I'm all alone in my room. I have a small, compact, cozy and most importantly cool room. Just found a cooler in Zubair hall that has ice cold water. I eat Z canteen k goated prathe in breakfast. My GPA is 3.9. I mean I can't complain about life.
I’m currently trying to decide between two paths and I’m honestly really confused.I have equal interest in both:
-Computer Science (with the plan to specialize in Cybersecurity later)
-Mechanical Engineering (with the goal of going into Aerospace)
From what I’ve researched, Mech.E is broader and can lead into Aerospace, which is why people often recommend choosing it over directly going for Aerospace.
At the same time, I’m really interested in cys as well, and I’m considering doing a master’s in it if I go with CS.
My main concerns are which field has better opportunities (especially long-term)?Which one has more growth potential internationally?
In which field is it comparatively easier to stand out if I put in serious effort?
I understand that every field is competitive and I’ll have to work hard regardless — I’m ready for that. I just don’t want to make a decision I’ll regret later due to lack of awareness.

Okay so gng this post is not about merit or anything. I have a serious question. I wanted to ask that if we score 30 marks in Maths 2nd year but have already scored 90 marks in 1st year, would it consider a pass or it would be a supply. And like if in some paper we score below passing marks and in 1st year we have scored good marks in the particular paper, would it compensate it???? Please guide how much marks are required to clear 2nd year considering the fact the individual scored 80% in 1st year. Please help seniors✌🏻🙏🏻
