MBRU Internship portfolio reassessment

Hello I’m unable to find the reassessment option for MBRU internship. I’ve been checking since the scores arrived and can’t find it.
As per the mail it was supposed to open ‘after two days’ so I tried again a while ago didn’t see it and I was checking the notifications in the portal where I saw it said you had to do it ‘within two days’ or else it will be accepted as if you’re okay with the score which doesn’t make sense to me is it ‘after two days’ or ‘within two days’? I’ve mailed the admissions department but still if anyone has done it please guide me.

Update: received no response on both the mails and tried calling them, they gave me GME’s numbers as it’s a separate department no one picked up tried multiple times :’(

Heyy everyone,

I am not applying for residency this year yet but I want this information to know where it is best to go for internship. The DHA website doesnt show me which hospitals have pediatrics since the application closed for this cycle.

Thank you

Fresh graduate from Georgia, UAE resident and Indian citizen.

Interested in Surgery

Have a lot of experience hands on experience in surgery form Georgia and also just observerships in the UAE and Georgia.

I did 7 semesters of med school from a USMD program affiliated with Emory University, Atlanta then had to shift to a different university cause the administration really sucked and we weren’t taught much.

This caused a sem delay in my graduation but my GPA drastically improved. I tried preparing for STEP-1 in between but I was so burnt out from the previous system that any wrong question or knowledge gaps would cause me to break down and give up. I know that you should keep going but mentally I was too broken especially with everything happening in my personal life. Plus my plan was to just try for UAE residency.

Now here’s the deal residency in UAE is difficult because there’s usually 1000+ applicants for less than 100 seats and even in that there’s a preference for the nationals and then UAE graduates. Match also highly depends on connections, so even if there is someone who is exceptionally amazing for a specific residency spot they might give it away to a national & you’re informed of this during the application process.

I have applied for internships in the UAE for this year and I will try for the upcoming match cycle. Meanwhile I want to keep a backup plan and I don’t know if I should go for US or Germany.

US surgery is hard, Germany is easier but language is the most common challenge on top of that is the fact that Georgian universities are H+/- so it depends on how your documentation is processed and you might have to re do a little bit of medical school but you can get into surgery.

US everyone is aware I think 😅 plus my CV is catered towards the US because of my previous university so I am into Research, don’t have that many USCE’s but I did get a Research opportunity around February in the University of Illinois but unfortunately my family didn’t allow me due to distance and finances so now my choice comes down to what gives me financial freedom and independence faster and what is more guaranteed and that’s what I need your help.

If I do match in the UAE, I want to save up and still try for US cause that’s what most residents do but that’s if I match because then I’ll have financial freedom.

In your opinion what seems worth it and what would you suggest?

Im a pakistani medical graduate. I want to ask about the 2yr experience requirement post internship for being eligible to pursue GP pathway.

If i get enrolled in FCPS (residency program in Pakistan) continue upto 2 yrs then leave it and come back here will it be counted as the 2yr clinical experience required?

If no, then the 2yr experience requirement can only be done through moship?

PLEASE HELPPP
