Oslo to Kristiansand by bus (after missing the train)
The plan was a quick train, but after I missed it, the bus turned out to be an unexpected highlight. Anyone else enjoy these long public transport journeys in Norway?
Route: Oslo → Kristiansand

That's it!
Interested to see others as I was surprised to see mine. Still relatively early on but my least viewed was in Shirakawago Japan and most viewed in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Was surprised as I thought the Japan video was better and more interesting but I am realizing I have no idea what will do well or not when I release a video
How about you guys?
I've gone down the metrics rabbit hole after posting a video and I'm wondering if any of you have experience with retention improving once you believe YouTube has found your audience?
I've had a thought building in my head that a lot of smaller YouTubers don't make bad videos, YouTube just hasn't found the audience yet. I see this when I come across small YouTube channels that have videos on the level of or better than larger YouTubers within their niche. But their numbers overall are "low".
I'm pretty sure Youtube is on the cusp of figuring out my audience but I'm not seeing the retention increase I thought I would with the increased popularity.
Anyone have channels where it’s travel + another niche? Such as travel + hiking or anything interests? how do you juggle both niches?
As a travel youtuber, I am curious what sort of shorts you make. Example for me when I go somewhere, it'll always be budget, itinerary, food review, etc. What else do you create?
Ask for feedback and practice giving others feed back! Learning how to give feedback can also help you recognise where to improve as well.

Hi, mod here. I've noticed more posts that plug channels or businesses recently and some of you in the comments have rightfully pointed out there are promotional aspects of some posts. In TravelTubers our mod team have allowed linking out to or showing channels and businesses as you can get better advice but this also comes with cons as well to the channel that is linked and also to blurring the lines of self promotion. I'd like to open this topic to you and hear your thoughts about this. Granted, I think it's a difficult situation to balance but your opinions could help our mod team could figure out ways to moderate some of these posts better.
What do you think about being able to link out to channels and businesses?
I've been squeezing these oranges since summer 2018. I've managed to get some juice out but I'm not sure if it's enough
