in the Heart of my Hometown

The photos I'm showing you today were taken in the heart of the old town, more precisely at Herrengasse. This popular shopping street is one of the few places in the Styrian capital where there are always so many people around that you hardly have to move and still get interesting subjects in front of your lens. But now I'm back in my second home, Mexico, where I'll be spending my time until just before Christmas. Of course, I've brought my camera with me and will definitely be putting it to use soon.

Japan - Nagoya tram 1401 at Science Museum

Seen in November 2014, December 2014, and February 2015 while I was living in Japan. Nagoya City Transportation Bureau semi-streamlined tram 1401 (Nippon Sharyō, 1936) was the first of seventy-five Type 1400 cars introduced during the 1930s modernization program. It was converted from two-man to one-man operation before the tramway closed in 1974, and was displayed as a one-man car for Imaike (subway station since 1960) at the Nagoya City Science Museum in Shirakawa Park.
