Or, alternative title: I want a TG lord solar proxy that uses that awesome looking alien-horse-thing Kroyle rides, and I will mutilate as many kits as I have to to get the job done. (11, by the way, is how many kits' worth of bits are in these images. Can you spot them all and where they're from?)

Interesting light touch proxy, surprised how well the bits came together, head from the cultist box with a lens eye (lucky me!) and a csm terminator claw.

Loosely inspired by the setup of Solar Auxilia standards. The Kracians possess a frothing hatred for Nurgle so he does not get a spot on the pole

Kasrkins and Rough Riders Wip.

Since coming back after 5 years. I was very excited to tackle the bike rough rider conversion. We're still trying to tame what the horses mutated into.

I knew the bikes were going to be a pain since I was going to have to change their feet, and the arms on the bikes are not all left handed attachments. Luckily the old cadian kit continues to save me (at least until grenade launchers become good).

Also the new hotness (to me) the kasrkin. I thought a weapon swap on the stormvermin body didn't fit the aesthetic so we went with the whole torso swap. A lot more cutting was needed, but other than the rifle it wasn't too bad!

Shes a traitor guard ringleader who liberates and recruits from sisters locked in Mortifiers and other Repentia who’s tormented existence provides sufficient doubt to hear her dark truths.

I’m not an amazing painter but I’m super happy with getting back on the horse and I think she’s a good proof of concept for both the Cobra x Night Lords traitor scheme as well as my future Mardi Gras themed sisters of battle armor scheme.

This was my first and coolest of the converted models painted for my Blooded traitor guard killteam. Two headswapped chieftains (one with bolter, one with chainswords/pistol) as well as two Repentia conversions holding melta and flamer respectively.

after zenithol prime, the base tone for the skin with ‘holy white’ speedpaint, I used ‘purple tone’ acrylic wash to set the shadow tone, then using an air brush and ‘slaughter red’ speedpaint I sketched out the inflamed areas. I did a dry brush highlight with ‘Skeleton bone’ warpaints air, focusing volumes and focal points like the heads/faces.

I then used Polychromos pencils draw some veins. The skin was sealed in with brush on gloss varnish. Using a stiff brush and ‘dark wood’ speedpaint, I flicked some brown specks across the skin to add mottling.

The clothing was done with speedpaints before being washed with the last of my ‘goon’s grime’ and the skin was washed with ‘dystopian brown’ (both villainy inks). after letting the enamels to sit for 30 minutes the model was cleaned up with a sponge and brush damp with mineral spirits. I then went back in with ‘carrion crimson’, ‘ichor of the damned’, and ‘True blood’ effects paint to add gore. I then used UHU glue to add strands of gore and saliva. The eyes were done with matt white and green fluorescent ink. the boils were done with ‘matt white’ and ‘zealot yellow’ speedpaint, then pin washed with diluted ‘true blood’

After all this time, the last piece of my original Cadia Stands box is built. It started as a fairly simple idea to use maulerfiend legs instead of the Sentinel ones and it kinda got out of hand from there. Next time my local group runs a crusade I'll be using this guy as a Sentinel commander but until then he's just a very fancy normal one. Guns are in the process of getting magnets but I'm hoping to start painting this weekend.

First (count as) cadian command squad and Ursula Creed. I wanted to freehand an araldic wolf on the banner but too scared to try it lol....indecided what to paint next...10 catachans or the first big blob of 20 cadians. C&C welcome as always!

Head and knife forearm from the Ogryns/bullgryns box, some light filing, filling and some not so light declawing required.
(I managed the filling with liquid green stuff but regretted the choice after applying 5 hours and 12 layers)
