The journey is over.

This huge project comes to an end. The giant Warlord Titan for Warhammer 40k ist ready.

7 month of work, printing, cleaning, painting and building. 7kg of filament, lot of paints and glue. Many mistakes and more that I learned.

Here he stands

I just finished my first titan. Building and painting took a little over two months, but it was a lot of hours — I had to go fast to finish it for an event this weekend (Maelstrom Mixer in San Jose, CA). I painted it in ~90 parts and subassemblies, and it’s magnetized at the waist and weapons for transport. It even has a custom transport crate 🙂.

He’s almost done

I just gotta finish up the trim and I might do some free handing on the black armor panels but he’s just about done. For my first titan I’m really happy with him

Warmaster Titan Datasheet

Ive recently ordered a 3D printed Warmaster Titan, and with that comes the need to eventually play it in a game. After tons of research and comparing datasheets of units with the same/similar weapons, I have put together a datasheet of what I think a Warmaster Titan would look like on a datasheet. Please lmk what you think either way!

WIP: Conceptualising Cathedrum Octopater; basilica of the eightfold truth

So I recently got my first 40k titan, a warlord, and I am intending on fully fleshing it out before I even touch it with paint.

The intention is that this is a chaos aligned titan, that follows the word bearers, and acts as a walking pantheon to the chaos gods. However, I don’t want this to be so on the nose, with a mouldy leg, and blood & skull covered close combat arm for example. I’m currently stuck of the face of the machine. Not wanting to riddle it with mutations (nor is my sculpting ability up to snuff), I wanted to make something that was more knight like? I think adding some chains hanging, or some flayed skin may work better, but am looking for ideas or advice. I’ve never worked on a model this large!

I had to give the guy knee-surgery since my last post. He got too heavy :(. But I am really happy how he turned out overall.

Hi, I'm trying to make a Warlord Titan esque using bandai kits, and would like to ask if the body proportions are good, especially the upper torso to waist-legs ration. Still a WIP, armor panels will come later when the base is done.

(Pic not mine)

In about a week at most I'm buying an Armorcast Reaver Titan and need some ideas for what to do to it.

Its a recast, so the sky's the limit.

Plan on getting a custom head and the chaos icon from BattleCastings to really sell the Nurgle vibes.

Any and all help is highly appreciated!

Is it better to min-max your titan or make it good all around?

I know that its doesn't really matter cause Titans on the tabletop are kinda garbage, but if I were to build one would it be better min-max it into anti tank or anti infantry? Or would it be better to do a mix of everything?
