peptide tips for beginners, what i found out from research
**storage**
peptides are light sensitive. don’t just put them in the fridge uncovered. even the fridge light that turns on every time you open it can degrade them. store them in a foil pouch or wrap each vial in aluminum foil. i kept the foil pouch that came with mine, glad i didn’t throw it away.
**needles**
the standard needle given is 8mm 29G but a 6mm 31G works better. shorter and thinner, less pain on injection.
**injection angle**
• thin fat layer: inject at 45 degrees
• average to thick fat: inject at 90 degrees
the 90-degree angle keeps the needle properly in the subcutaneous layer.
**pinching the skin**
only pinch if you have less than 1 inch of fat at the injection site. helps the needle reach the subcutaneous layer without hitting muscle. enough fat, no pinch needed.
**other tips**
• take the vial out of the fridge 10-15 mins before injecting to reduce stinging
• wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab, let it dry 30 seconds before drawing
• after injecting, hold the needle in for 5-10 seconds before pulling out to prevent leakage
• rotate injection sites to avoid scar tissue buildup over time
ps. this is based on my own research so correct me if i’m wrong. always do your own research and fact check po 💕
