Tapestry or rug

I bought this textile 20+ years ago and had it hanging in my store to close off my display closet. I was told by someone that it’s silk and possibly Afghanistan made. It measures 60” wide by 96” height. It could use a cleaning but I’ll leave that to whoever buys it. I want to know its value or any information anyone can share. Thank you in advance.

Does anyone know where I can get this rug or something similar that has a cream base and light orange flowers?

Vintage Kars Kazak

A wonderful Turkish Kars Kazak with an eagle design, handwoven with vegetable dyed wool. Kars Kazaks are usually wool on wool pieces, making them deceptively heavy rugs.

Size: 5’6 x 7’10

I’ve had this rug coming close to 15 years and I know nothing about it other than I got it for free in an estate sale in Dallas. The estate was in a very nice part of town.

I’m grateful for anyone who can share an opinion.
