In Hand Review 2026 Jordan 4 ‘Toro’ LJR
Review: LJR Air Jordan 4 "Toro Bravo" (2026 Retro) – Size 14 from Repmaster (Mulebuy)
Disclaimer: I haven’t had the chance to see the 2026 retail pair in hand yet, so this comparison is based on official release photos and my experience with previous AJ4 Toro retros.
Ordering & Shipping (Mulebuy / Repmaster)
• Agent: Mulebuy.
• Seller: Repmaster.
• Shipping: The box took a beating (classic agent shipping luck), but the shoes arrived unscathed.
• Big Foot Note: It’s always a gamble at Size 14, but these actually came with shoe trees large enough to keep the toe box shape intact. Major win for the big-foot gang.
Quality & Accuracy (LJR Batch)
Since the 2026 retail pair is just hitting the streets, finding a batch that nails the updated shape is key. LJR is known for their AJ4s, and these don't disappoint.
• The Red Nubuck: The color is loud and aggressive, exactly how a Toro should be. The texture is smooth with that matte finish—it doesn't look "plastic-y"
• Shape: The toe box is surprisingly slim for a Size 14. Often, larger reps get "boxy" or chunky, but the silhouette here looks sleek. The heel tab height and tongue proportions look spot on compared to the 2026 stock photos.
• Caging: The mesh caging is parallel to the wing, which is the first thing people check. No wavy or slanted lines here.
• Midsole/Paint: The black paint line on the midsole is crisp. I don't see any overspray onto the white or grey sections.
Comparison to Retail (Speculative)
Based on the 2026 retail leaks and official shots:
Color Match: The "Fire Red" hue on this LJR batch seems to hit that specific saturation seen in early retail reviews.
Stitching: LJR usually has very tight stitch counts. Looking at my pair, the double-stitching around the toe and wings is uniform.
Heel Logo: The Jumpman on the back is centered and has the correct "depth"—it doesn't look flat or poorly molded.
Final Verdict
If you're looking for the 2026 Toro 4s and wear a larger size, Repmaster’s LJR batch is a safe bet. Even though I haven't compared them side-by-side with a retail pair, the build quality and attention to the 2026 SKU details make these an easy GL.
Rating: 9/10 (Would be a 10 if the box didn't look like it went 12 rounds with Tank Davis).
