TNF Two Himalayan parkas

On the left is the US version of The North Face Himalayan Parka, produced in 2005. On the right is the Japanese version of TNF Himalayan Parka, produced in 2025. Both are 900 fill power expedition-grade down jackets. Has anyone used them?

Northface Ski Pants Coming Apart

Found this Northface ski pants coming apart at the pockets. It looks like the glue just came off. Is there a way to just re-apply the adhesives for this? What type of glue should be used?

Is this an original TNF jacket?

Hey guys!

I purchased this a long time ago in a second hand store.

Just wanted to know if it’s actually an original TNF jacket or rather a replica?

And if it’s an original one.. which model?

Any help is appreciated!

Is 50°f, cloudy weather too warm for a Hydrenalite jacket?

I’m traveling to a place where the days will be in the high 40°s with a daytime high of 50°f and I’m thinking of getting a Hydrenalite hoodie. Would that be too warm for that kind of weather? I’ve never had a big puffer jacket like this before and this’ll be my first time going to a place that cold. Thanks

Edit: forgot to mention that I plan on wearing a light sweater underneath it

The North Face Borealis BackPack Stain Help

Hi! My family bought me a backpack a month ago and I put acetone in my backpack(it was leaking) and ruined the inside of my backpack and made it discolored. To say I am upset is an understatement, this is something new my family bought me for my birthday even though we were in times of need. This is a picture of the inside, is there any fix? Like I would do anything even wash the backpack for 24 hours. Do you think North Face Customer Service would help? Give me like a partial warranty? I am truly truly looking for a solution and anything would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Is Borealis Trail backpack good for your back?

I am searching for a backpack that I can use daily for work (must fit for laptop, 1-2 books, lunch, and water bottle) but also durable enough for a day hike/nature walk and traveling. In addition to that, I prefer the one with a good back support. I came across this Borealis Trail and I like the design and the features. I just want to make sure that it has good back support. Do you guys know anything about this? I found very little review about this backpack. Thank you.

The Northface women's rain jacket

I have been wanting to get one of these, but worried about the logo, and if it would peel off?

Just wondering those who have a rain jacket from North face, how is the quality?

I just don't want to spend that much of it's not going to last.

Hoping once I do it lasts me many years to come.

Tip: Double-back the Explore Camp Sandal Ankle Strap

I recently got a pair of the Explore Camp Sandals. A design flaw I found that many other users also noticed in reviews was that the ankle strap comes loose while walking, since it is only secured by the tension in its buckle, unlike the other Velcro straps on the sandals.

I went for a longer walk in the sandals yesterday and estimate they come undone roughly every quarter mile, which caused my foot to repeatedly slip off the sole unless I tightened the strap again.

A way to solve this is to double back the ankle strap through its buckle. This means looping the strap back over the buckle and back through the “intake” side, as shown in the image. I tested the sandals after doing this and found that the strap wouldn’t budge. This is clearly not the intended way to secure the sandals, since the buckle uses two different color straps not meant to overlap, but it worked for me.

I don’t recommend them over other hiking sandals for their price and design flaws, but after fixing the back strap they feel much more usable. I didn’t find this fix mentioned on the product page, so I hope it helps someone get more use out of their sandals.

Model Check - North Face Duffel?

Hi all- first time posting here. A neighbor recently put out a lot of hiking gear plus duffels on the street, and my wife grabbed this duffel for me for travel. My Internet sleuthing makes me believe this is an XL Base Camp Duffel, but would love to figure out when it was made (or if this is a different model).

Thanks, all!

Base Camp Voyager Duffle Deep Cleaning Tips?

I have a base camp voyager duffle and recently while at my parents’ place, one of their cats peed in/on the empty bag. I have doused the bag in Nature’s Miracle Urine Destroyer but there is still a smell!

Is there a safe way to deep clean or wash the bag? Dry cleaners? Heavy duty mode on the washing machine? Boiling water and soap or vinegar?

Any tips are appreciated! I haven’t been using it because of the scent and it’s my favorite duffle. Please help me save my bag!

Cover for Base Camp Duffel

So I've got a base camp duffel that I've had for about 12 years, been around the world with me but it's still in surprisingly good shape. I think it's an XL, but I'm not 100% sure.

Last year I took it on a motorbike trip from Ireland into France/Spain. Had it strapped to the back of my bike. The issue I had was that I hit a lot of rain in France, and my clothes got soaked. There was some white shirts that I had to throw away cause they just ended up with brown stains from the rain.

So my question is, is there a rain cover that I can buy to put around the bag as I'm doing a similar trip again this year and I'd love to take it with me again. I just don't want to have to throw away anymore clothes.

Thanks in advance.

Keeping Verto backpack white?!

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to keep their verto backpack nice and white and clean? I recently got a verto27 and after a couple of trips it’s picked up scuffs and marks. I understand this is part of the story etc and just what happens with a backpack meant for the outdoors but I also want to keep that pristine aesthetic. Any ideas?

thermoball

the thermoballs are my absolute favorite slipper shoe of all time. i'm audhd, so for me that means im texturally averse to a lot of things; texture effects every aspect of my life; from my style to what i eat. one of the textures i am most averse to is fuzzy/furry/etc feeling. i dont know how to articulate this very well but if i feel like i can feel my clothes then its like game fucking over.

so like a good golden retriever i went to buy another pair of my beloved thermoballs and noticed that the insides arent the good flat and soft anymore...every shoe pictured has fur on the inside like uggs. so i start like frantically panic searching for last seasons shoe which led me to discover that the fur was introduced with the thermoball V.

and great news!!! the thermoball ii appears to not have the fur still!!!

dear northface: please dont discontinue this shoe please please pleeeeease. i almost stopped buying northface completely because of the skims parnership (their quality control is absolute trash) but the thermoball ii gave me hope.

Help ID'ing this fleece.

Thrifted this some time ago, not sure if it's a fake but it seems high quality, no pilling, elastic material at the armpits, quality zips and stitching, small pocket on the left arm with a red zipper.

Seems to be a custom one too, there is an embroidery on the back that says "K.K.S goes Dublin 2011" and "Cor" above the arm pocket (sounds interesting but no info anywhere on what it could be)

The tags are worn out but there is some info leftover

FF 867968 on a holo TNF sticker

and on a normal black worn out tag
RN#61661 SEASON# 111
CA# 30516 STYLE# ARRX
