There's only a handful of gaming experiences that will live up to being destroyed, stuck, learning and ultimately beating Viper for the first time. Thanks for the ride, Neople devs!

I'd erase my memory of this game if I could, just to play it all over again.

In another timeline, Khazan would've met its sales expectations and we get a DLC. For now, we can only hope for another installment as great as this one.

Cheers Berserkers!!

gameplay on Hardcore NG.

This game really came out of nowhere, influenced my art forever, and left. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who had an experience like that.

Thank you, Khazan. I'll keep replaying you for a long time. Until we meet again.

Perhaps there's hope for Khazan...? (New article about Neople's reallocation, dated April 10th)

https://gamingbolt.com/the-first-berserker-khazan-nexon-says-restructuring-is-not-related-to-workforce-reduction

Some highlights from the news:

The First Berserker: Khazan is the first of three games designed to introduce our Dungeon & Fighter to a global audience. The game got off to a solid launch with good critical scores in Western markets on both PC and console,” said the company in a statement.

The fact that The First Berserker: Khazan missed sales targets set by Nexon hasn’t really been a secret. The company revealed during an earnings call last month that its Q1 revenue for the game was lower than expected. Despite this, however, it “achieved our objective as a strategic first step in a multi-year plan to introduce Dungeon & Fighter IP to a global audience.”

This adjustment is not related to workforce reduction or team dissolution. It reflects a planned reallocation of talent to support live service operations and new initiatives across Neople and Nexon affiliates.”

Warning: I want you all to be careful engaging with this user. (Click on the screenshot to zoom in)

He has a group chat for this subreddit and it's only purpose is to upvote his own post and downvote the comments and post of those he doesn't like.

He did it with me A LOT in the past but I forgot to block him. Since yesterday my post immediately started getting mass downvoted everytime I posted and anyone who commented on my posts also started getting downvoted IMMEDIATELY. I think I am really appreciated in this subreddit so my posts from today started to outnumber the downvotes and when he realized this he came back hours later and commented.

I remembered who he was and I immediately blocked him. Once I blocked him the massive downvotes suddenly stopped happening. Yes there are really hateful ppl in these subreddits and filled with envy. Be careful

It's worse knowing why they did it!

Let's first acknowledge that they did next to no marketing for Khazan. And to boot, they didn't even have one unit sold in their biggest market! Then they want to say Sales didn't support it! Well, if you buy a plant and don't water it; you can't be surprised when it dies.

Everyone that plays Khazan and isn't scared off by the the challenge, Loves it! It's an incredible game with incredible combat and to find out that they canned it to focus on more FPS slop is just so disappointing. We have more FPS's then we could ever need! I personally haven't played one since halfway through Destiny 2...when I discovered this genre and I figured most people that enjoy gaming would get sick of the same old thing with FPS.

I sooo which the situation was different; where the core of Neople could leave Nexon (assuming they wanted to) and we could keep getting the Peakest combat I've played. Personally, I'll never buy another product from Nexon. Which I'm sure doesn't matter bc it doesn't seem like they want to grow outside their base market.

Spear was cool and all, but this fight is so much fun on Greatsword that I nerfed myself to make it last longer. Ghost Arm Block: Overpower is too good || Reese No Hit NG+2 No Reflection

I was doing too much damage/stamina damage to engage with her whole moveset, so to nerf myself I used a super underleveled weapon, changed my phantom to something not offensive, rerolled any damage-related/stamina damage related affixes on my gear, reset my levels to not level proficiency, and changed my jewelry to something that didn't give me any extra damage.

what to expect from the game?

how's it going, everyone? i'm here because i've been interested in playing this game however as someone who's from a third world country, it is hard to save up money for a game. anyway, i have some questions for the game as i am still planning to save up for it and eventually buy it in the near future.

i've seen a lot of posts here praising the combat so i'm not gonna ask more about it. but how about the story, does it have a proper story presented to the player or is it more of like a elden ring/dark souls storytelling whereas it is more minimal but could be pieced out together from items and logs? also, how's the OST? i recently played stellar blade, and lies of p back then, and all i could say is that from those two korean games, they all have banger songs. lastly, does it ever go on sale, and by how much percentage is the lowest?

tldr; i'm a broke ahh from a third world country, tryna save up for the game and i'm asking about the game's story, ost, and if it ever goes on sale. thanks and have a great day!

Khazan’s not gone yet!

After seeing all the posts and comments about Khazan’s future and the post about the reassigning of the dev team, I felt the same as a lot of the community. Especially hearing from the dev team saying how well it’s going during the anniversary update.

One person that I’ve been following is IAmWaved for all updates on what was going on with Khazan. And I’ve been waiting to hear his opinion on the matter. I did t realize that the dev team had issues with the licensing in china and that Khazan will be rolling out in china soon.

I’m curious to hear everyone’s thoughts on this and that most of the team is being reassigned but there is still a team to roll out update(s) for the game.

I highly recommend yall check out IAmWaved on YouTube on his latest Khazan video and let me know your thoughts.

I’ve linked the video.
