Legally changing my 18 month olds name because everyone calls her by a nickname I hate
Should I legally change my daughter’s name? My husband and I got a lot of negative feedback when was choosing our daughter’s name, and eventually settled on one that wasn’t my number one to please others.
Since my daughter was born everyone but me and my husband pretty much has defaulted into a nickname / shortened version of her name. Doctors, nurses, her daycare teacher. I love her full name but I don’t love the nickname!
Her name is Le (pronounced Ell-ee) but everyone calls her Lee (Lee) for short. Honestly I’d much prefer Ell! We had originally chosen Lnr (Ell-en-r) but changed it before she was born. Now I regret it and I want to legally change her name.
Edit: there are multiple ways to spell names. I’ve known Kristen/kirsten/kirksten/kristine/Kristin/Christine/Cierstiene/Cristine/christeen and probably a dozen other variations same with John/Jon/Juan/Jaan/Jaahn spelling depends on your culture
Edit2: Who shared this? My cousin saw it and messaged me
Edit3: I’m from the United States. I changed details (her age in months) but not names because I wanted actual answers relevant to my situation but unfortunately that wasn’t enough for privacy and my family has all seen my Reddit profile now. Please be kind especially if you know who I am. Text me potato so I know you know and I can compose myself before we discuss.

Last two pics are bonus - sudden pupper sounds in the distance.
Also the first pic makes me feel like I'm about to be offered some kind of trade for my soul and-or lunch.

they seem to be sceptic of it…
LOVE Doughboi
I love how soft and squishy the doughboi is. And they seem to be happy not being alone anymore.
The Click and D&D
I’ve had The Click videos on in the background today while cleaning and pretending to be a responsible functioning adult. I know he loves D&D, and several times today I’ve heard something along the lines of “I need to make a D&D character like this” or that something should be in a D&D campaign.
I also know he loves dad jokes. It always makes me smile because my late husband was a big gamer and was the absolute KING of dad jokes and puns.
Over the course of the day today I heard dad jokes and D&D references several times in different videos, and it reminded me of something that happened in a game he participated in.
It was long enough ago that I don’t remember the exact circumstances, but his character was in battle and the DM had him roll. I should add here that my husband was very creative and could sometimes frustrate a DM’s planned game.
So. His character was facing certain death. Hubby’s roll was perfect. So……a cow fell out of the sky and killed the enemy.
Bovine Intervention.
Click should do an April fools video
Alright hear me out. Click should do an April fools video over any subreddit where he just reads everything in Swedish. If he knows other languages, he could totally switch between them each post and just confuse the hell out of everyone
That's all. Just doughboi beans because they're perfect.
I decided to draw a little something whilst watching Click's videos on r/Hellsome because I was bored
She's basically a fallen angel that lives in the icy parts of Hell (The part you can go to if you want to cool off from the spicy flames). And yes, the chains come from God trying to restrain her, but oh my did he make a underestimating farce of her. ohohohohooo...
oh yes... oh yes indeed...
Very comfy. 10/10 would reccomend. He is a bit flattened like this but this smile is very emotion supporting. Feels like a little friend to judge my life choices.
