Okay so I had a childhood friend with which i had been ever since i was in 4th grade. Almost 8ish years of friendship. I genuinely considered them by best friend. I shifted countries every 2 years but made sure to be in contact with them and all. When i finally started my 9th grade in the same country as them, i was so excited to go meet them and share everything, we studied in the same school and the starting of 2 years it was the best, they were solely the reason i used to go to school atp. I also went above and beyond for them, giving them surprises on their birthdays etc etc. I had plans to leave the country (ae) after I FINISHED my 12th. Fast forward to 11th, a new girl comes in between, now she was our mutual friend but i saw my best friend slowly leaning towards her more. Our circle than grew of 5 people.

We were genuinely the best friends/group everyone knows are inseparable. But than slowly i saw my bestfriend spending more and more time with the said girl. i was okay with that but then she started not replying to my texts and preferred to spend all her time with the said girl and obv it hurt. In activities, she chose her all the time and than came the secret conversations about me, the side eyes when i used to talk. They thought i wouldn't notice, but i did.

They legit used to go outside and talk about me, and if i asked to come with them they used to give me the 'side eye' and say 'Omg just stay back gurl'. And one day i'd had enough. I contacted my 'bff' and told her that ik you guys talk about me and that it is very comfortable for me and all. First of all, she declined ever doing that but slowly she agreed. She said she remembers doing it but it was alright and that they think i was lying on some 'matters' and hence they backbited. I told her it wasn't okay and that it hurt me to which she said 'stop making me feel guilty'.

We used to talk on snap, so without my consent she took that screenshot and sent to the other girl, i did a few messages to my 'bff' and told her wut are u doing to which she did not reply for 3 days. After 3 days i had enough and told her wth was she doing not replying. The same day the other girl texted me saying that we only did that cuz we thought u were lying, I asked when to which she said 'You used to ask me about my sister like how her mbbs was going in pak but then u also contacted her asking the same thing so like what were u tryna do' :) litr. Anyways, after my message she didn't reply me too. On the 4th day, my 'bff' texted back saying she couldn't do it anymore and that its better to just part ways and what the other girl said was completely fine. I told her that she was manipulated easily and agreed to everything the other girl said to which she completely denied it.

There goes 8 years of friendship. the other girl too cut contact. The most irritating part was where the 3rd girl from our group didnt reply to my messages either and when she did, she said she wanted to 'Focus' on her studies and thats why she cannot keep our friendship :). Here goes another one, and the last girl too cut contact without a reason. Just blocked. They also did not co-operate for any events we did in our class like parties, surprise for the teachers, trips etc, they usually started fighting because everything was 'too expensive' while it litr wasn't. Our farewell was about to be conducted and they asked everyone to pay 60 aed or around 5000 pkr per person like 11 and 12 mixed up to conduct one. They litr said it was 'too exp' and they weren't paying more than 20. Literally.

Anyways, The whole year i was alone. Them giving me side eyes and stares and spreading rumors and making fun of me/laughing when they thought i couldn't hear them. Fast forward to our 11th exams ending, our school held a farewell and i was in charge because i handle events for our school and also manage social media and all pretty well, i was also their graphic designer for some reason. Anyways, i didnot tell them about the farewell (in our school 11 and 12 CONDUCTS farewell together) And i was also the one in charge of telling everyone about it. So i told everyone about the farewell, except them. And well than came the pictures and snaps, the food, the dressups, and oh Lord were they furious. :)))) They asked me and i just said ya'll didn't wanna pay anyway.

I have got no regrets as we're gonna start our 12th grade and they have another chance for it so idc. They deserve it. AND than they asked why and tried contacting me, tried to mend things between us when they realized i had a stronger bond with the teachers and could do stuff. Like host things and ask the principal for trips. Well, they got left on seen and then blocked, just like a year ago, they did. I've got no regrets now. Some people might call me harsh but am i?

OKAY. So FYI I do understand when people act like kids/cute infront of their friends or like partner etc, Yeah that's cute whatever. But if acting 'cute' is your ENTIRE personality- bih ur like 17 18. Comeon, Worst thing is i saw ever older people doing this like wdym ur 23 and ur acting like a kid.... it gives me the biggest ick. Worst thing is that once i went out with one of my classmates who's like this. We went to a cafe, I ordered some iced coffee, she literally went 'Omg idk how yall drink this, like it's so baddd duhhhh, imma just take a juice (tryna be cute blinking)' And after she finished half of her juice she acted like she couldn't drink more and made weird faces when i told her not to throw the rest. Nugget. Esp the girls who do it infront of guys like girl ik u can open that bottle you are not petite stop tryna gain attention. I can't.
