I've always been a major fan of Ico and still believe it to be Ueda's best work. Don't get me wrong, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian are masterpieces, but something about the quiet solitude of Ico stands out to me, especially with the phenomenal sound design. The abandoned castle setting too still feels amazing even after all this time.
But beating the game in under 2 hours, could have used sonic for this
I used alcohol markers to make it it was for a project in a adult day care I go to and ran out of time 😭
I tried something new, a completely different style from before (inspired by Art Nouveau). Let me know what you think, but please be nice.

These games especially SotC are my favorite experiences of all time.
I remember watching the game awards with my family as we always do and this was not even a thought in my head. Jeff hyped me up with his little speech and by the time “O” appeared in “ICO” I burst into tears into my wife’s lap and missed the whole trailer and had to go back and watch it.

This was an early college project where we had to animate a album cover art, and because Ico and shadow the classes were on my mind, I did the Ico album cover art.
It's mostly Ico, but there is also a butterfly from the last guardian, and a silver tailed lizard from shadow of the Colossus
