What's the difference between TotV and DnD?
Perhaps I am not first but on the surface all seems the same.

My players are a huge fan of this game but there wasn't a virtual character sheet anywhere. To that end I decided to make a fan made one. Feel free to give it a spin, it's 100% free and only helps you make a character.
I'm planning to expand this out to other games my players love to play that don't have robust virtual character sheets. Lucky for them I'm a developer so I got the skills to build it. Check it out, let me know what you think, and feel free to give feedback if you find bugs. Also, buy the books and support indy games like Household 😄 .
Is there a resource that shows the Source of Magic (Arcane, Divine, Primordial, Wyrd) for the spells in the Deep Magic? Was it already in the book, cause I couldn't find it.
Hi everyone! My players recently discovered a hidden grimoire. Even it being a copy, the original was a spell book of a famous evil wizard. The wizard of my group obviously asked “what spells are there?” but I haven’t think about it because it was just a copy.
Now I’m thinking about giving away 2 or 3 maybe hellish or some evilish spells in there to her. Any suggestions? I’m using Tales of the Valiant but I’m open to other sources or 3rd party content as far as it’s balanced and from a trusted source.
Thanks!
EDIT: clarify that they’re at level 4 about to 5 so I need preferably spells of 3rd circle/level and below
The bardic performance Mirror Mirror says you can create an illusory duplicate of one willing creature you can see. The duplicate moves with the target, mimicking its actions and shifting position
Illusory Reality says that if the illusion is dangerous (such as a fire or an ogre with a greatclub) and the target interacts with it (such as touching the fire or being hit by the ogre’s greatclub attack), the target takes psychic damage equal to your bard level + your CHA mod.
Does making an illusory duplicate of your fellow party member who is a fighter would be considered "dangerous" illusion in terms of the definition of Illusory Reality?
If it is considered dangerous, and the fighter does multiple attacks, then illusion will also do multiple attack as it mimics the fighter as per the Bardic Performance Mirror Mirror, does that mean each illusion attack will be doing psychic damage?
Hey guys, I asked the mods if this was ok to post but didn't hear back (please feel free to remove if not allowed) but I reviewed Skeleton Key by Jeff C. Stevens ( u/jcorvinstevens ), and thought it was pretty great: https://youtu.be/0Cro6xq8a80
Seemed super useable, good atmosphere, good villain, and I thought Jeff's OSR experience in adventure design showed in all the right ways. Well worth the price imo.
I think it's 53. That is by my calculation the highest possible roll for a Skill Check, but I may be missing something.
Here is my math.
Roll a Nat 20.
Be at Level 20, so a Proficiency bonus of +6. Expertise in the skill, so +12.
Ability score of bonus of +5.
20th level Bardic Inspiration, +12.
Guidance, max roll, +4.
Total of 53.
What am i missing? I am trying to limit to Kobold published material, because I am sure there are any number of third party classes that offer additional variations of Inspiration or similar bonuses.
