Darker Side took me 3 days
First time I played Odyssey in 2018 and it was awesome. But the final Darker Side just broke me hahaha I thought it was just IMPOSSIBLE! So I just gave up on that as well as on moons collection.
I always wanted to come back to this game and beat it again. And 8 years later finally I’m here!
After hearing so many people spent months and years on that level I thought it would be insane but suddenly it wasn’t that hard.
I’m sooooo glad 😹😹😹😹😹
Do you have any challenge ideas?
I literally finished the game with one hand and thought it was going to be hard, but it barely change anything so can you give me something
Has Mario Odyssey ever had some visual unusualness like other 3D Mario games?
Was thinking if Mario Odyssey had the some unusual encounters you wouldn’t normally see or think until you wait and look closer. (In WDW’s case its more like overthinking of what happened in that ghost town).
Are the koopa freerunning records hacked
I want to think it's a crazy movement glitch but I'm pretty sure they're just hacked
What the worst section of the Darker Side Level?
I am playing that level for two days now and I can get only to the hedgehog and fire ring part… That part is pretty much impossible for me now but I’m planing to beat it.
What the most difficulty section of that level for you???
UPD: beat that part, now I’m stuck on pokio section… kinda crazy lol
Just finished Darker Side! 🥳
Completed it within a 3 hour sitting! Love this game a lot and Cappy’s speech was emotional! I was very paranoid at the end about messing up the final climb! 😅
Help me come up with theme map ideas!!!
Have anyone could get every moon by himself without googling?
I don’t know how it possible..
I found 818 unique moons by now
811 moons I collect by myself and 7 moons felt so impossible that I googled them. That insane «KEEP» art moon was one of them… Like wtf?
As far as I know I need to find 14 more. God help me find it by myself…
Is it possible to collect every one of them without any hint and guides? Do that people even exist? Are you guys okay? You are superhuman or something?
Please please tell me i did well with just 7 googled moons!
Came back to finish the moons after 6 years
I got Odyssey by trading with my nephew 6 years ago. Got hooked but I was focused on reaching enough moons to win the Darker side.
Played it again as there aren’t any new Switch games. Decided to crack all the remaining moons I missed. First, this game deserves all its flowers for being so rich in detail. There were a lot of moments I missed because I just wanted to hit the end. Second, I seem better at gaming at 43 years old. There were a lot of moons that I don’t know why I failed to see them. Also, I remember hating the bound bowling game. Yet, it was easier this time and took a few tries to get its moons. It was the same with Koopa free running.
Theory: Mario Died after the Intro and turned into a ghost that accompanies cappy
HE DOESNT CAST A SHADOW!!!!
I got my switch as a birthday gift for myself last Thursday, and here we are barely a week later and I’ve demolished this game. I don’t know how many hours I put in but the last couple kingdoms were absolute torture lmao. Anyways thought it was cool to share. This was the first Mario game in a long time that I’ve actually managed to 100%, in a week no less
I finished SMO yesterday and i can tell you that it was the most entertaining game i've ever played and one of the few games that made me ragequit.
The bosses fight were surprisingly easy for some of them and to be honest i would have liked a little more challenge but i accept what i have here.
In terms of lore, i really enjoyed the last mission.
I am a very new mario fan so i don't have any knowledge in anything except that i like everything related to it but this is the first mario game i've played that much in years because before that, i've played Super Mario Bros 3D on the 3DS.
I won't go out for all the moons but I'll definitely travel around just for the vibe.
(You have to long jump by the way).
Sorry for my bad vectoring,
I'm thinking around 4.5/10.
I'm at 566 moons. Thus far the moons have been pretty easy to come by. Played thru the game, played thru all the levels again after getting the x marks the spot from the moon cubes, beat dark side and darker side. Now there's very few known moons left, just a few X's left and a few mini games to finish.
So the question is, how is everyone getting to 100%? Are people actually finding these remaining hundreds of moons themselves? Or is everyone just using a guide.
Aiuto
