I’m curious how many other people go out of their way to buy multiple color variants of one character just so they can mix and match. For me, I prefer to get whatever’s closest to the anime, so I recently went out of my way to get both Narancia Standard and Narancia Ver. Black so I could display him with red Aerosmith. (Similar story with Mista). I did the same with Caesar before, I got both Caesar Standard and Caesar Second so I could put the blonde head on his blue body.

I do usually try my best to get used and secondhand figures, especially for the figures I’m not actually going to have on display lol. Anyway, just wanted to know if any of you do the same (If you’re reckless with money like me lol) or if you prefer your figures the way Araki and Medicos intended.

So I just came across some pretty interesting third-party figure news and wanted to share it here.

Apparently, a company called Arkham Factory is working on a bootleg Super Action Statue Crazy Diamond, which is pretty interesting considering the original figure is almost 10 years old at this point.

What’s really got my attention is their track record they’ve already made some surprisingly solid knockoff figures, like the Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Deadpool and an Arkham Batman. From what I’ve seen, their stuff isn’t your typical low effort bootleg, they actually put effort into articulation, sculpt, and paint.

If they pull this off, this could be a huge deal for people who missed out on the original Crazy Diamond or don’t want to pay aftermarket prices.

I’m curious what you all think. I know in the Super Action Statue community bootlegs usually don’t have the best reputation, but this one actually has me a bit hopeful.

Most SAS are priced in the $40-60 range. Kira Second $65. Soft & Wet, Gappy, Valentine & Jonathan Limited Edition are $90-100. Trish, Spice Girl, Rohan & Caesar are $20-30.

Moody Blues, Abbachio, Sticky Fingers Second, Spice Girl & Trish are missing the stands but have everything else! Rohan's knee was broken and glued back together. Caesar's right arm is broken off and he's missing the Red Stone of Aja.

I can provide more detailed photos of any damage upon request. Most figures are in good or like new condition! A few boxes have some small tears or dents. Giorno and Hol Horse are brand new.
