MCI rent increase application

Assuming that everyone who has gas line work done last summer got these? They're applying to pass the cost of replacing gas lines onto renters. It reads to me like "we improved the property!" when really it was just a municipal order to replace potentially hazardous gas headers all over the building.

Anyone have insight on this? It's only $9 but the principal seems like a cash grab. You are allowed to object officially, which I did.

I need to make a double of my apartment key today. tried to go to ACE and they wouldn’t do it. what does it cost/how quickly can they do it at resident services? would one of the key kiosks at Home Depot do the trick?

UPDATE: SOS on 7th was able to do it for me for $10. I didn’t want to go through management bc I’m turning my keys in today and I was worried they would try to screw me on security deposit

Ending my lease today and I don't have the spare unfortunately! Curious if anyone knows how much they charge for the missing key.
