Saving a leaf

This Muppet decided to molt on the lowest branch of bramble in her enclosure so I had to take the entire food plant out to make sure she would molt safely 😭

Are you a boy or a girl?

What do you think, is this beauty a boy or a girl? This one differs from others a lot. But since I adopted them I don't know their birthday dates. He so tiny! He so fragile!

Stick insect in my door

Hi all,
Just looking for a bit of advice.

TLDR: wondering how to care for a stick insect living in my door.

I have a stick insect that has been living in the corner of my front door for about a week or so. It sits in the same spot all the time right up in the corner.

I came home late last night and noticed it wasn’t there anymore.. then saw it was tangled up in a nearby spider web. I know we shouldn’t interrupt the course of nature but I helped it out using a small stick - it was very trusting and willing to let it help me. (Actively grabbed the stick and pulled itself out of the web)
Edit: I put it back in its corner after that

Anyway, since that I want to make sure it’s comfortable and I’m wondering what I can give it to make sure it is. I haven’t seen it eat or drink.. and I’m worried it will get attacked by something. I don’t want to put it in an enclosure (well I do really want to but I won’t) because it might have a family or something waiting for it and it’s just staying in my door temporarily.

Any advice would be great. I was thinking of putting a hanging vine for it to sit on and blend into by the door? And what do I feed it?
THANK YOU 🫶🌱

I think I know the answer - but this terrarium hasn't got enough airflow right?

The only vent is that small slither on the lid. I don't want to drill holes in this either (they are not in this terrarium currently)

If not, any suggestions on other insects I can put in here?

How can I get food out without harming the sticks?

THIS IS A VERY TEMP HOME - They will be moved to a more suitable and larger enclosure with stick pots very soon

This is probably a very dumb question, but I am so scared of taking out old food with 7 tiny babies in here. They're so difficult to spot and I like to put a lot of excess food so they have hiding spaces and climbing areas (I have so much ivy and brambles in my garden I'm not worried about running out of food), I'm terrified of accidentally dropping or crushing one

Can anyone give any tips?

Hii ok so I know it sounds bad but this is my first time only having one stick insect! They are a baby of one of my previous stick insects (RIP<3) and I’ve had two little groups of them before with about 4 a couple years ago and 4(which eventually came down to 3) who passed just a couple months ago. And I guess I got so used to not being able to tell them apart and giving up on naming them that I didn’t realise I could give this cutie a name and not forget! He/shes about 5 months old now too and I’ve just been calling them “stick” or “friend” cause it’s what I’d call my other ones! 😭 Any name suggestions? She’s almost at her last molt I can’t believe I didn’t clock this sooner lol!

Why is her nose white?

The largest one of my babies, who is showing no lichen patterns, suddenly has a white “nose”. I swear I didn’t give her ❄️.

Any idea why? She seems active and healthy. She is a giant prickly stick insect (Extatosoma tiaratum).
