Recently strung this for my son. The ball is hitting the top plastic on the release. The angle of the top plastic is greater than most heads. Any recommendation? STX Stallion 1k.

What have you noticed it’s better for hold and whip, hexagons or squares in the pocket?

Hi everyone. Can someone pleases identify the knots used in the screenshot? Never used these before, this is by an account Mcnamara strings in instagram. He has a sweet looking pattern for an L4 (he also uses these on an ECD atom which I’ll be buying soon). Thanks !!!

I had to be really careful with the hexagons and I still feel they are not symmetrical
I fixed it but once I break the pocket again they go back to the position they were. They are uneven even if they are the same size bc the amount of string for each hexagon is the same on both sides

It passes really good, a little bit lower than I’m used to, but i haven’t tried shooting with it, I’ll update!

Bought, baked, strung and pounded

My 10 yo decided he didn’t like the stock strings on his Warrior Evo stick so he redid the whole setup. What does the group think? Any advice to give him? He said he didn’t want shooters so he left them off. Now he can actually ‘pick corners’ (or so he says).

Is this what I think it is. Talk about this head all the time. The weight and sidewall flare unbeatable back in the day

Restringing an old head of mine (not needed for legal play) and wanted the extreme hold a tight nylon gives while still being able to pass and shoot, the two nylons across the middle of the pocket give it a good grip while still being able to shoot well. Any ideas or tips welcome!!!

I originally strung the STX recommended pocket but it was a bit shallow, I went back and added an extra diamond (visible in picture 4). Please share your thoughts / criticism. Also my first time stringing to the inside so if I made any rookie errors please let me know!

Does anyone have a good tutorial on how to string an Eclipse1 goalie head?

I could only fine 1 example of a Brine Krown Pro restring so I thought I'd share. Used atwood paracord on this one.

The original pocket was awful and this is much better. The head was too wide for the armor mesh to use the outer top holes.

First time stringing a head on my own. I only have a greaser so it’s hard to say how it performs.

Restringing the sidewalls tonight to utilize a locking knot where I want the pocket. Any more suggestions?
