Name - Lord Thren

Origin - He once was a cult leader who strove to be a sith lord, so he devoted his body to the darkside, allowing past sith to possess his mind while he controls the body.

Fighting Style - He tries to possess the Jedi kyber crystal into betraying it's master. As the lightsaber becomes harder and harder to control it turns itself on its wielder, as he uses the jedi's own weapon to kill him.

Appearance - He wears coins on his eyes, relying on the sith ghosts to guide him to destruction.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a project we’ve been working on lately because I think some of you might enjoy the process.

We’re putting together a full scale (1:1) Darth Maul bust, inspired by a darker “Shadow Lord” take, and trying to push it a bit beyond a static display.

It’s a small team project between:
• @yerayllinares_3dart
• @herrero3d
• @m.a.s_3d
• @el_senor_dilatas

The idea is to mix sculpt + engineering + electronics into one piece:

• 🔴 Real lightsaber element
• 💡 Subtle lighting to give it life
• ⚙️ Motorized base for movement
• 🧠 Focus on expression and presence, not just likeness

We’re still deep in the build phase, figuring things out as we go, especially on the technical side.

If everything goes well, we’ll bring it to the 3D Printer Party this year and see how it feels in a real setup.

What do you think so far?
Anything you’d personally love to see in a piece like this?

And honestly… would be amazing if something like this ever caught the attention of the people behind the film 🔥

I just finished hand painting this baby Rotta the Hutt figure.

Not sure how to paint realistic eyes yet but I’m pleased with how it looks.

I've been obssessed with Maul since that season finale. Other's have done it but devon is one of my favorite new characters and wanted to draw her more sith-like. I normally don't draw human-like characters but I think she will be so compelling as a character into season 2. (randyragtag)

Modernizing a tacky concept form the 1990s

I need some help. So far I had the idea of taking Simon Greyshade from his appearance in Star Wars #18 and modernizing the look. His original appearance was something out of a Doctor Strange comic. I had some line art done for a concept and I’m looking for some advice for the legs and footwear. Now the artwork is just concept. The costume is probably not going to be as flattering on me. The idea I had was to take as much from the original concept as possible and then add both modern and Victorian style flair. But I think more than anything something should be done about the pants and shoes. Any ideas or critiques would really be helpful. Thank you.
